"restaurant that I have been attending for a long time and that it has always been an institution for the raw fish in modena but lately I'm sorry to say the quality of the dishes has fallen much. in my last three visits it has gone worse and worse especially the mixture of crudite' of crustaceans and molluscs that and always been their battle horse is no longer the same even now they put the Argentine prawns. no curls no truffles no flours a dish now anonymous and for more increased price. a little intrusive, owner who seems to be cradling in the laurels, different treatment if you are their habits. locally still in the 1990s deserves a nice renovation. 82€ paid in cash and not even 2€ discount not so much for the 2€ but for the gesture). very disappointed difficult I will return"

I had already had dinner several times at the dining room restaurant. I confirm the kindness of the staff. the restaurant specializes in fish dishes, but my friends also enjoyed cutting mushrooms, tonight I particularly enjoyed the potato and octopus cake and potato cutters.

Let me tell you this: It doesn't happen to me that I give 5 stars, especially two on the same day. But this restaurant is great. Great food, specialties and good service. In the area of Modena it is a must to have a dinner here for seafood. Everything was delicious and especially the professional service. You have such a choice of seafood, hard to decide. But all I eat was great taste. Very recommended.

Funny! we like fresh fish and here really have the quality at an affordable price! from fresh crab raw tartar made on our demand for mixed fish soup and crustaceans (with fresh lobster). we also tried the horny tail and the very good rhombus is all accompanied by a beautiful bottle of Pinot Grigio. service is beyond expectations! we spent less than 40 euros per head. I saved her on my map and she'll be our stop every time we get there. thanks for the kindness and availability!

My hotel rang to book a table for me When I arrived I was seated in an annex on my own I asked to sit in the main dining room but they said they were full not true as people turned up after me and were seated in the main room It was like sitting in Alcatraz it was cold and there was a tv blaring on the wall I thought the days of sitting single female diners at the worst table were over sadly not A shame as the food was good pasta with basil and tagliato di manzo. But ruined and I left feeling miserable

dinner with a friend, first time for me in this renowned fish restaurant. Very elegant environment, we welcome and order. ..polipetti alla luciana not exactly faithful to the traditional recipe,as they pepper in spicy and the sauce albeit good turns out too neutral, sea salad for my good friend. As main course I order a fry that is without infamy and without praise, while the shalatielli of my friend are broken and therefore far from the chosen pasta format. Sweet and sorbet to finish. Honestly, we ate well but not as well as expected from a restaurant with a long and glorious tradition.

"good morning, I find myself writing this very negative review not to judge the food, which I couldn't eat, but rather because of the high incompetence of the staff regarding the management of reservations and the approach to customers. the unpleasant experience took place on 03/16/2024, when I, together with my family and some of my friends, went to the club to celebrate my eighteenth birthday. once we arrived at the restaurant we were kindly welcomed by a waitress with hearts tattooed on her arm (a fundamental detail to understand with whom the unpleasant incident took place), referring to the lady I stated that I had made a reservation for 4 people the previous evening and during the afternoon of 16/03 having telephoned again to ask if it was possible to add another 3. once having made us sit at a long table located on the veranda of the restaurant he brought us the menus making a note on the lack of mushrooms to prepare some dishes and the possible replacing them with asparagus, which is understandable given the purely spring period. after about twenty minutes, after having served the wine, the bread and the water, the aberrant story happens... the lady waitress comes to the table saying that there was an error in the reservation and that that table was not for us , but rather for other people who were waiting outside the restaurant, I rightly got angry at the request to leave the table; during the discussion I showed her the phone calls I had made to request the reservation and subsequently the addition of seats, she with an extremely haughty manner took the business card of the restaurant to validate her hypothesis that I had called another restaurant, but alas the lady's theory was completely wrong since the number I had called was correct. subsequently the lady invited my mother's partner to see the reservation book to make sure the name was missing on it, unfortunately the name was not there but the call had been made to the correct number saying that there was room and indeed confirming the reservation which was subsequently confirmed also upon our arrival at the restaurant. extremely saddened and I was completely distressed by the fact that my birthday would have been ruined so we went to a high-end establishment very certain that we would not recommend this place to other people. I would also like to highlight that I am no stranger to the restaurant sector given that my family has been working in it for some time, so I know how it works within a restaurant business and I know that the mistake that was made due to a very inaccuracy as gross as the way they showed us the door to accommodate other people whose reservation had been made correctly"
