Popped in late and were the only people in there. Despite this we were greeted warmly and the freshly prepared food was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Lied to, order was advised delivered when not even left. Cold when arriving 40 minutes late. Curry was nothing like what ordered. Absolutely avoid this restaurant

The food was excellent, the service was very friendly, and they allow you to bring your own alcohol. The waitstaff was very pleasant and the prices were reasonable. The happy hour deals were very good, and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food was also very flavorful.

We ordered a takeaway from here on Xmas eve. Neither my wife nor I eat meat so we ordered a veggie byriani and a veggie masala. The byriani was fine but the masala was an embarrassment. The sauce was great but the “”veggies” comprised 3 chunks of potato and a few green beans. The sauce that came with my wife’s byriani had more veg in it. It was our first experience of this place and it’s likely to be our last!

Ordered tonight off justeat chicken chilli garlic, butter chicken extra hot, garlic rice, peshwari naan, onion naan, onion bhaji, sheik kebab. We’ve had a lot of curry deliveries in the last 14 months of lockdown from most of the restaurants around bebington and I’ve got to say this was by far and away the best we’ve had. Spicy, flavourful, fresh, aromatic and downright tasty enough to make me log on to tripadvisor and post a review. First Class, thank you.

I have dined at many Indian restaurants in Liverpool, but Alam Balti is the best restaurant I have ever experienced. I tried the Chili Masala curry and it was excellent. My wife had the Chicken Korma, which isn't usually my preference, but she really enjoyed it. Initially, I had a negative impression from the outside, but once inside I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Indian curry. I even travel from the city just to have their curries. The prices are reasonable and they also allow you to bring your own drinks.

We have ordered from here many times over a couple of years and usually they are very good. We always order the same thing and my wife has the tandoori murg masala without fail. However tonight we got our order and the wife’s was wrong. Called the restaurant and spoke to someone who was rude and arrogant. I told him the order was wrong and the response was, I should have known what I ordered!!!! I said I did and said the order was wrong, the driver came and delivered the right meal it was not the drivers fault he said it was the chef!!! I’m not going here again had enough

It really was Lovely food, we couldn’t fault that, the quality of the food was beautiful…we were the only ones in the restaurant it was nice enough service but tried to over charge us at the end of the meal. When the bill came every food item was overcharged. The bill was £221 (with a service charge that wasn’t discretionary) however when I recalculated myself the bill was £195 with the service charge, which in hindsight now I wished I’d asked them . He tried to say the calculator stuck but it wasn’t because of that, I would advise anyone to check their bill when they eat here. Also no child’s menu so it cost £11.90 for chicken nuggets and chips for children.

After a friend has repeatedly recommended the Alam we finally got around to paying a visit last night. Having purchased some wine from the conveniently placed off licence next door we perused the menu outside, chatted with another customer then entered. Met by the lovely Sayed who seated us, brought menus and glasses for our wine. They have quite an extensive menu including a great selection for vegetarians. We opted for the Banquet for 2 at £30, that's for 2 not each. We had poppadoms and a tray of mango chutney, onion and tomatoes plus a really delicious dip which consisted of yoghurt, chilli and lychee, coriander and one more ingredient that I can't remember.
