"Expensive fillet steak for two is worth trying just for how amazing the flavour is. You’ll be left with the delicious taste in your mouth for a long time afterwards. Feels a bit stingey giving just three very small sides for a meal for two though. The ‘chips’ (not fries) reminded me of some left over bits from the bottom of a chip fryer though, so didn’t impress. Drinks were ordered in the first 5 minutes but only came when the kids had already started eating and I asked the staff where they were some 20+ mins later they had obviously forgotten the drinks order as others had theirs delivered who were in well after us. Ambience and attitude of service staff was no more than mediocre unfortunately and expected better. Maybe having an off day, but still felt obliged to pay the ‘discretionary’ service charge added to the bill."

Too noisy with a dj in the dining area The menu was extremely limited and nothing to excite as well as being well overpriced for example a glass of wine at £11.00

We had a wonderful experience during our first visit to this restaurant. The atmosphere was great, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. We can't wait to come back again.

The restaurant has a great ambiance and friendly staff. However, the menu is a bit pretentious and lacks clear pricing. I wanted to order the chicken with crispy potatoes, but was told it only came with dates. Quite unusual! Speisekarte ansehen

Service was a bit slow but they were really busy standard of the Sunday roast was beautiful thought there would of been more variety of desserts wouldn’t put me off going again as the food is amazing and I’d like to try other dishes

Hi. I have always loved Alberts Standish but I wasn’t impressed with the new menu cards. They reminded me of a ‘take away menu’ Alberts has always been a high end restaurant so why have you introduced these cheap looking menu cards ? Having said all that our party of 9 adults enjoyed our time there. Emma who was our waitress was excellent! Kind Regards
