"My husband and me were just passing by and decided to come in and have a coffee. The atmosphere was fine and the smell of the food was very appealing but, we had to deal with a manager called Ani with no education at all. We were trying to explain to her , we only wanted a coffee and go and she was telling us off; not listening to us and inviting us to leave because we were not going to have any kind of food. This was a very weird experience, and a very disrespectful one . My husband could not articulate a word and I just decided to leave without any more words with this kind on unprofessional and disrespectful manager ?. We are not coming back again."

Popped in to purchase some bread for lunch. I picked a half mixed olive baguette and got charged £4.50! Seriously?! Better bakers in London charge half the price for a full size baguette. You really need to address your pricing as ASAP!

We came for a meal and had a wonderful evening ,Gianina looked after us from the minute we arrived. We never had an empty drink and food was brought out at the right time. 100% recommend and if you get Gianina as a waitress you are winning! Thank you. :

although I don’t leave reviews on many places, the service here was amazing especially the young lady (Gianina) who was very friendly and cheerful especially when holding a bizarre convo about the views me and my wife were having. We were sat in the outside area for the afternoon in the walk in service. After an hour and a half we are told to leave very rudely. After explaining that we wanted to be there for the evening, we were very abruptly told to leave due to the fact there were walk ins. I can’t exaggerate how rude the staff were. It’s actually shocking how me and my friend were spoken to.

I popped in for a quick lunch as I was hungry and luckily passing by. I never been to this place before but I will definitely go back. I have had Chicken Caesar for my lunch, one of the best salad I ever had, the chicken was very guicy, just perfect cooked, you could tell the chef knows his onions when we talk about Food. The staff was very halpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this place!

Food: Breakfast was smashed avocado on sourdough with two soft poached eggs. Delicious! I went back the next day for more!Ambiance: pleasant feel to inside and outdoor seating for COVID rules. Service: I had a problem when I visited the first time, for afternoon tea, but the Manager and Assistant Manager reached out, invited me back, listened to the problem and looked after me royally. Food: Cream tea: scone, clotted cream, english breakfast tea. it was a nice cup of tea but no clotted cream!!Service: nobody warned me the cream had run out butter isn’t the same! And they offered no discount. I had to ask why it was missing when it came to the table. The waiter who served me didn’t even bother to come and apologise. He walked past me several times. My daughter was treating me to a night out and we had booked at Dishoom opposite, but mixed up the times we would have had to wait for an hour, so popped into the Albion opposite. Very basic comforts in the restaurant but a half decent Negroni and a decent IPA, spiced chicken wings, scotched quail eggs and burgers later all very good indeed. Really friendly and quick service to boot! I so would like to be able to specify a rare burger but............
