This place is definitely not worth missing if you’re in Castelfranco and love seafood. This restaurant is situated in the city centre inside the castle walls. The food is cooked to perfection and the presentation is an art work. We’ve tried most items on the menu and nothing can be faulted. The service here is top notch; they don’t miss a beat. We keep returning every time we’re in the area and they never let us down- each experience is a unique one. Do yourself a favour and make time to eat here, you won’t be disappointed.

In the restaurant quite late (13.30 a.m. on a beautiful but cool weekday in April 2017. It was empty for our family of four. We had a mixture of delicious antipasti, primi (spaghetti all bygole, risotto ai frutti di mare , fried octopus as secondo and tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert. Excellent sparkling wine and water accompanied our meal. The food had arrived fresh and fast. Service was friendly. I especially recommend the fantastic spaghetti all bygole verace, their speciality. The other food was good, but not exceptional, but the Dolci were quite forgotten. They were especially helpful to give us a ride back where we had parked our car (near the marina of Ravenna, about 2 hours walk...

We want some seafood and pick this restaurant by searching. The restaurant is fully of tropical decoration and seems a bit over for me. We took off our masks and been requested to put on a separate table instead of the dining table. We don’t mind to follow if we told in advanced. Service is a bit off for me. We ordered risotto and sea bass. Overall the food is nice but overpriced compared to other nearby. At the end, we been served a variety of dessert/snack without being asked. They asked did we want anything else and we ordered limoncello for digestive. Normally it is free of charge as complimentary in Italy. At the end, we found limoncello charged 5 euro per person. My first restuarant I tried in Castelfranco (another TripAdvisor recommendation! as it was close to my hotel and after a long day, I didn't feel like walking very far! It is situated just inside the old gate (on the right hand side on the main road through the old town, Via FM Preti. The menu is prominently displayed outside the small outdoor seating area and when you enter the premises, you are opposite the bar and you are welcomed immediately by a charming lady who shows you to your table and leaves you with a very weighty menu in English!
