Great food and friendly staff, nothing a problem even got something made that was not on the menu.

Stopped off on way home after a recommendation and weren't disappointed. 5 beautiful meals and lovely staff. Nice atmosphere, it's a ten from Len haha

Best mixed grill I've ever had. Our meals were delicious, very filling, good sized portions but most importantly all of it was perfect. Really nice meal out.

only stayed one night, but could not fail anything, workers polite and friendly, eating amazing, had a nice break and will definitely return if only for one pint.

Stay at least a couple times a year, never disappoints lovely staff and fab food. Even better when we can take our two well behaved cockers. Thank you everyone at the Anglers. Happy Christmas . Looking forward to staying again in New Year

Lovely welcoming atmosphere with cheery and chatty staff and a traditional country pub decor with a roaring open fire. Their is a good and varied choice of meals and the standard is very good with the food being very tasty and to a high only downside is that the portions are a little large !!! We could not eat more than a main course or possibly a starter and pudding !

My husband and I recently had an overnight stay here. Our evening meal was very good and well presented and the staff who looked after us were friendly and attentive. Our room was on first floor at the front of the building. First impressions, it was clean and more than adequate for a one night stay. The chocolate brownies were a nice touch (if you like them and they was a nice selection of tea and coffee available. They was a good breakfast menu to chose from. We had the full English breakfast with a choice of scrambled, fried or poached eggs. Toast was freshly made and they was cereal, fresh fruit juice and tea and coffee also readily available.
