this restaurant is now called winstrub (very) greedy. food is local and traditional with options of meat, fish and vegetables. a good atmosphere.

small family restaurant with only 8 tables and a waitress, the owner. Everyone seemed to know each other. The food was delicious and it was the most memorable meal of all the places I ate in the 7 days I was in alsace.

It's a small family restaurant. Traditional regional cuisine. small intimate setting on traditional grounds. the food was well prepared with a lot of flavor, the meats were tender. . . the best meal of our traveling along the canals of the Alsace region in france. the Germanic influence has been realized with great effect. will be back for a few seconds when I come back tomorrow!!!! wonderful food, intimate atmosphere!

I've been in this restaurant for almost 20 years now, and it's held by a couple. She's in the kitchen, she's in the service. Great: you can arrive at 10:00 and are always served. the room is burglarized, tiles table, traditional cuisine. you can eat waedele, bibeleskaes, baeckeofe, ... they have a good selection of local wines and homemade desserts. There's a stammtisch where you meet the neighbors. food is served in large quantity, but leave room for the excellent pie for desert.

My wife and I went to this restaurant following a recommendation from a blog. Small enough, maybe 8 tables in total, hidden in a small alley of a large street. nice welcome, we quickly ordered what we had come for: the famous Alsatian sauerkraut! We were not disappointed: a selection of 4 different scutters, a potato and a large dose of cooked cabbage. the latter was particularly tasty and non-acid because cooked longer according to the owners. What a feast! dessert was correct but nothing special. The star of the show was definitely the sauerkraut.

We followed our owner's recommendation and reached 100%. You have to book and you will probably be sitting with strangers. Many people who come for the excellent traditional cuisine, the huge portions, the great choice of wines and beers and the warm and friendly atmosphere. It's not often that I'm not done but having their sauerkraut from the corner after an entrance made me crack. delicious but you have to walk after. and everything comes from roland in the kitchen and his wife in the front of the house. If you want to eat with streaksburgers, go to service and eat here (and try their neighbor in front of the poppy cruchon).

I went there with a group of student friends, because it had been recommended by a local gastronomic friend. It was cheap, too. experience was like eating at someone's house. I had the omelette and the bomb, but cheese and potatoes and foie gras were the most envious orders. I know that the foie gras is awful, but it's also one of the best things I've ever tasted!
