Had an excellent meal here, excellent and authentic French food and reasonably priced. Had the snails to stay and amazing duck for main, with a delicious desert.

Go for the local snails and both the hot (with musrooms) and cold fois gras were excellent. Main course lamb in garlic sauce: wow. Filet de perch in butter wonderful and desert was mega great (local tart) Speisekarte ansehen

Wait, wait, wait ..... a little more wait..."Vous voulez seulement des boissons? Pas de nourriture? We can't serve you! A few places on the little river, sunshine.... but not spending enough, so we were asked to leave. Rude!

If you find yourself around lac du bourget, stop for food in this nice and cosy restaurant by the river. Open from March to October, this family business is definitely worth going! Food, service, wine list, location, decor, everything you expect and more!

Great value, good food, and excellent staff - when the weather is good the location is unbelievably beautiful. All the local fish dishes were excellent (we tried them all across the table) and even the frogs legs which we tried at the waiters suggestion were excellent! Speisekarte ansehen

This restaurant is located neat the Canal de Savieres, in a nice spot with a most pleasant and picturesque village around.Unfortunately the food was sub-mediocre, and the service friendly but unremarkable and confused.I will certainly go back to the village of Chanaz, but I will look for another restaurant.

Ate here while cycling the rhone. It was the only restaurant open in the evening in chanaz. The meal was good but probably about average for France. The staff were friendly. However they couldn't supply the Internet code which meant that the advertiserd Internet was not available. Prices were reasonable for what we had.

I am not into writing a lot of bad reviews here, but this time the experience in this restaurant was one of the worst I ever had. We had a reservation for 12 people. We arrived on time at 12:30. 3 of us took a starter (the same : snails), the other only a main course (8 of us even took the same, so nothing specially difficult). The beverage came quickly but the starters took 1 hour to arrive (with the bread). Nothing distributed and no apologies for the wait. The snails were a typical industrial frozen product (snails in a recreated pastry shell). Just look on google and you will find the same. We hoped that the main would follow. But at 14:10 we gave up and left without eating anything else... Speisekarte ansehen
