thanks to friends of Saint martin vesubie we left our "locality" to discover a few kilometers this pleasant restaurant. Nothing to say: warm welcome, delicious dishes and very moderate addition.2 times we go but certainly not the last

the plate of the day at 13 e. Italian salad, excellant melon but rarissime ham. the rest tomato and salad. A little expensive for what it is.The advertised fries are not fries but potatoes cooked in friture. Not a taste of fries, weird texture. Probably frozen. Too bad.

having found by chance jean claude, ex patron of the restaurant "la marmotte" in valberg, left the station two years ago.................. we were able to see that he did not change in anything: his sympathy, his welcome, his professionalism, his cuisine, the presentation of the dishes to the generous portions. that happiness and it is fun!!! personal welcoming, small slate card with that dishes that make you want. kitchen with fresh products, beef duo and skewer lamb with potatoes rissolated with small vegetables, really excellent!!! the cream burned was impeccable...Last point and not least, the view on the terrace that is most pleasant. We didn't want to leave at the end of the meal.

It's not the end of the world, it's the end of the road. Once on site, you will enjoy the view of the Vésubie valley. A single inn but a simple and tasteful cuisine. a dish of the day and a short card. everything is fresh, simple and well prepared. "hot hare" is a goat of the village accompanied by raw ham, dried tomatoes, blood, mesclun and a little lawyer. Soft price, smiling and efficient service. It's better to book.

I heard about this address during a TV report. visiting St martin vesubie is quite naturally that we wanted to have lunch. not disappointed at all, friendly and family welcome. varied map, just what it takes to serve fresh dishes. Lamb mice was delicious, tartare and T-bone supers, we were four and we all enjoyed our dishes, well served, generous, and this on the terrace facing a magnificent panorama. we ate very well in this inn with a magnificent view of St Martin Vesubie. the dishes are hearty and tasteful unfortunately the service did not follow. After taking our order and having us waited for more than half an hour without seeing anything coming, the waitress apologized because our file had fallen, which justified the waiting. except that rebellious at the end of the main dish... it was once again necessary to wait 30 minutes for the other tables to be served. a little bit overwhelmed we asked if we had to make our desserts ourselves. When the waitress arrived, we were satisfied with what was left. It's a shame. ..because the kitchen is preciable

We had dinner at the hostel a summer evening, on the terrace ... and spent an unforgettable moment. The hostel is located at the entrance of a beautiful village in eagle nest (venanson), on the village square. Good atmosphere friendlyly maintained by the owners who also do the service and ... the kitchen. Unfortunately we couldn't test all the dishes ... but all the ones we tried were extra!to recommend in particular a T-Bone calf sauce with ceps. A marvel. Italian beef tartar... great. not to mention the mouse of the lamb confit to thyme. Even delicious desserts (many homemade pies).To recommend that you be on the way or as a destination.We, in any case, will come back!

a visit to avenanon for a visit to this pretty village in the hinterland, we decided to take a break at noon before continuing our walk around. The Venanon hostel, on the village square, has a superb terrace, with plenty of room and many tables. the interior, beautifully decorated (old enamelled plates, old time claims, photos and various paintings) is impeccable and very good taste. The service is efficient and fast enough. copyy dishes and quality/price ratio unbeatable. For me, a mixed salad tasteful and very balanced, followed by a salmon paved with its rice and crunchy vegetables, two dishes that stir perfection! for my friend, a tartar with its homemade fries, well prepared and greedy....
