very rich and very good dishes, but a long wait between the aperitif and the resistance plate! they could also offer accompaniment or other with the aperitif.

Right next to the canal it is very well located for travelers. The service was friendly and efficient. The dinner was excellent. The house wine and local beer went down too well. Great for a casual meal with the family at a reasonable price. A short stagger back to the boat. Speisekarte ansehen

Very friendly staff starters where very tasty and I have to say for the best of the week I had salad, egg with bacon and for my main Steak which for me has to be very rare and I had rockfort sauce which was very nice, hubby had steak with peppercorn sauce both with frites which for us was a first for the week as everytime we asked they were sold out. Both meals and 2 beers €58.60 which was not bad. We moored up at Port du Palisance which will get its own separate write up. The restaurant is approx 100m away.

Just a few feet from the Canal de la Mare, this restaurant greets its visitors with a fairly large terasse. The tables are spaced widely apart, giving everyone the privecy they need/want. Kids and dogs are welcome. The service is great and friendly. The food was great, nicely presented. I enjoyed the frog legs à la provencale while my husband devoured his Zander fish in no time. The dessert menu was pretty long, making it a bit difficult to choose. We would definetly return and recommend this restaurant to all.

There are signs along the Canal de la Marne Au Rhin advertising this pleasant restaurant. We were very exited with this, as restaurants were few and very far in between on the canal. The fact that it is situated 50 m from Port du Palisance where we were moored up is a bargain! The Plat du jour of Eisbein, potato salad, desert and a beer @ €12 was fantastic.When we saw the huge salad someone at the next table were having, we were ecstatic. We have been pining for a good salad for a week.The Asseitte de Crudit (€7) was really tasty. The meal was ended with a choice of Creme Brulee or ice cream. Everything was really good and the service was fast and friendly.I wish there were more restaurants... Speisekarte ansehen
