Auberge Gardoise - Speisekarte

I did not stayed in the Auberge for the night or dinner but only bought there own smoked salmon which was of excellent quality and this for an outstanding price 50€/kg. You can ask to get it vacuum packed if you travel.

We visited this delightful restaurant whilst on holiday with friends, staying at the nearby Mas de la Bousquette. The ambience is lovely, the service excellent and the food exquisite. We enjoyed a superb meal and would readily recommend it to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

This is a little gem ! If you are nearby, do stop for lunch or dinner or an entire afternoon ( they have a swimming pool and huge garden). We took the fixed menu for lunch and for about 22 euros per person it was an excellent value. We really enjoyed every bit of the menu. You can have wine by the glass and everything is done on the premisses including the desert. They brought us a dish of brownies with coffee that was a desert by itself. Excellent service in a calm setting. Loved it !

We stopped here on the way back from Lussan. We had lunch in the garden under lovely shady trees. The garden was excellent and adjacent to fields of sunflowers.We chose the Cochin , the Meagre fish and the steak fillet.My piglet was lovely, beautifully cooked and presented.The others enjoyed the fish and my husband described his fillet as one of the best.The staff were both friendly and extremely correct.The rosé was cold and crisp- perfect accompaniment !On such a lovely warm day it was hard to leave.

A bit concerned the reputation for excellent food will become general knowledge and book up the Auberge Gardoise. I stayed for a couple of nights many years ago when we bought our Mas in a local Village and have been a regular visitor for 15 years.My wife and friend have enjoyed a lunch at Gardoise every couple of weeks and the service and food just gets better and better. We eat and enjoy every dish and today was no exception. The highlight was the freshly made profiteroles dripping in chocolate.A big thank you to the waiting staff who speak good English and know their stuff and are well trained.

I was with a couple of friends, and we were looking for a place to have breakfast when we noticed this beautiful mas and decided to give a try. The waitresses have been very professional and kind. They brought all kinds of local specialties, from the bread to the cheese, from the eggs, bacon and ham to the jam and the croissant: all very good! (Beh... una nota per i miei cari amici italiani: siamo pur sempre in Francia, non vi aspettate un caffè all'italiana qui...). And if they still have it, I suggest you the special cheese they offer is somewhat GREAT! All the abundant breakfast for 10eur.
