"The most wonderful first time experience was had at Babuji in Kentish Town, on New Year's Eve! The service is amazing. They go over and beyond to make you feel welcomed. You're greeted with warmth and the unfinished kitchen wall sets the mood of modern day India. The food is exceptionally delicious. Flavour packed and satisfyingly filling. Prices are super reasonable and so are the portion sizes. Be sure to order the butter naan! We had two helpings! Will absolutely be back."

Food is reasonably priced and very generous. We had the Bengali prawn curry and the butter chicken, the prawn curry being definitely fiery! The owner was very lovely and helpful when we ordered. We’ll definitely be back!

We ate here before a music gig up the road. Lots of choice on the menu for us, including vegetarian dishes. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful (they packed up my leftover nan bread to eat later). The place had a nice feel to it and we felt that the food was good value for money. Will pick this place again when in the area.

We were heading to the Forum and Babuji is just across from the tube. It's not posh with plush seating but my goodness the food is good. We had a couple of chaats as starters and I had the Bengali prawn curry. I tried some of daughter's lamb curry too. Excellent. The service was really friendly and the food came along quickly enough that we were not worried about being late for the show, We had a great time and next Forum concert we'll be back.
