I had wienerschnitzel that was properly cooked and tender though slightly oily coating. Good potatoes on the side and an ordinary beer. The service was friendly and good.

Staff was very nice. Huge schnitzel with Good quality and beer chicken was also great. Be hungry when you come here! Location is lovely as well in the middle of the street

Rich food made with love, like your grandma would make it. We ordered the gnocchi with pumpkin sauce, a Wiener Schnitzel, and two types of pasta, and everything was perfect! Definitely coming back :

We entered this restaurant not knowing what to expect. It was so good, and everything other people ordered looks so delicious, that we had to come back the next day. We were at lunch today. beautiful typical local, very well maintained and harvested. family-run restaurant with good traditional and non-food dishes. a good card also with dishes a little different from the typical Bolzanin panorama. the dishes we chose were very good and quality. good service, helpful and very kind. the price paid is consonant with what was served us. certainly come back and recommend.

We only chanced upon this restaurant and went right in during its opening time. We realised we were at a special place when they were full and had to start rejecting diners. Loved the dumplings so yummy and full of flavour. Beef tartare was generous and exuded quality. For mains, we had cacio e pepe and ossobucco styled beef if I recall! Very very sumptuous and satisfying. A must visit if you’re in Bolzano!

I found this restaurant by chance for a lunch stop, just along from the market square, and managed to take a free table outside in the street; ten minutes later the place was full and by the time I left there were people waiting in the street for tables to become free. The cooking was excellent Italian home cooking at its best with an economy set menu, a short a large carte including a range of tirolean specialities, and a short list of daily specials. I chose both my courses from the specials menu and they were both cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and, like most places in Italy, there was no problem having my dog under the table.
