accueil excellent, bonne nourriture faite avec des produits régionaux.tarifs attirants, pour un bar resto qui "revit" après fermeture . je ne manquerai pas d'y retourner.

Enfin le un bar restaurant a ouvert et le village revit. La cuisine est simple, très bonne et surtout faite avec des produits frais et locaux pour certains. L'accueil est aussi très sympathique. Il faut y aller pour les encourager.

This place is hard to beat for a cheap, imaginative lunch in lively surroundings. Much better than the usual duck or chewy steak and chips. We had frogs' legs and it was a glorious assault of garlic and parsley. Tastes a bit like chicken. Lunch...here is relaxing and energising at the same time. Nice staff.

I ate here twice during in my stay in France. I had linguine with smoked salmon and cream and it was so delicious, I could have had it over and over again. My friends also enjoyed their food. The owner is friendly and animated and...you can sense his passion for food and wine. Breakfast was yummy too. Highly recommend a visit.

Ce bar restaurant situé sur la place du village d'Astaffort a enfin ré-ouvert avec une équipe super sympa et une carte de saison avec des produits frais, c'est une cuisine simple et savoureuse avec cependant de la recherche au niveau des saveurs et quelques petites touches d'exotisme de temps en temps, bref, du plaisir, de la bonne humeur et pour un prix plus que raisonnable !

It is a great pity that we only discovered the Bar du Commerce on the last day of our 3 week holiday in the area.The atmosphere was tremendous, the all male staff friendly and helpful and the food excellent.There was no menu card, just a blackboard with a choice of 3 starters, mains and deserts.The patron who spoke good English, brought the board to our table and explained the menu without being asked.Whilst waiting for our meal, we were able to watch a member of staff making pizzas from scratch for take out customers.And in the background, we could the chef preparing our mealFor starters, we both had Tartare de Jambon which was most fresh and tasty.For main course, I had a really delicious...
