"my new man and I thought for a bite to eat on Thursday, 11 May, we had traveled from padstow and had stopped on a row of places that were looking for somewhere nice to midday, we had found places that were empty, places without atmosphere, and places that were closed. but when we went to miss feas cafe, we realized that we had found a brand new, wonderful jewel. the service was great, eating was delicious and a real tasty bite (I don't think I ever tasted a better egg mayonnaise baguette in my life, and the creamtee was for fresh bread, fresh eggs, fresh scene to die) and the decoration of the caffe was stunning. thank you for making what seemed like a never-ending hunting after a nice caffe, transforming into a journey of fate. we already look at the smugglers rest as we want to visit them, and mortehoe again very soon."

"We dined here three years ago and concluded it was the best roast we've ever had. Returning felt like a gamble, as our expectations were sky-high, and we feared it might not meet those standards. However, we were once again amazed by the Sunday roast. It's truly outstanding. The meal features tender meat, perfectly roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and a remarkable selection of eight different vegetables. The carrots are absolutely incredible, and the cauliflower cheese is exquisite. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!"

"We just returned from our first visit to The Rock during the 5th day of our annual family holiday in North Devon. We were unsure if we wished we had discovered this beautiful place earlier or if we were glad we hadn't because we would have spent a fortune wanting to visit every day! We had an amazing meal with our 8-year-old son, who enjoyed the excellent service. As someone who is conscious about fitness and health, I am always meticulous about the meals I eat, but I treat myself when eating out. This was by far the best dining experience I've had in a long time. We started with the veggie deli board, which was delicious and could have been a meal in itself for two people. I ordered the Thai crab cakes as a starter but the staff were very accommodating and made it a main course with extra salad and some delicious chunky chips. My husband had the Thai green sweet curry and our son had a burger with cheese from the children's menu. For dessert, I had pancakes, my husband had sticky toffee pudding, and our son had a warm chocolate brownie. We were so satisfied with our meal that we indulged in coffee and truffles afterwards. I cannot recommend this place enough for its amazing food and service. We will definitely be back next year, and maybe even earlier if we can squeeze in another visit before we leave for home on Saturday!"

"Really great food that's a bit different. It's bar food and pizzas but it's done well and it's a good price. Been here a few times and it's always been good. They do have vegan and veggie options if that's your thing too and a good selection of drinks. Outside seating fills up fast on a sunny evening but there's plenty of seating indoors too Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian options that are just as good as the meat based ones. Also vegan options"

"An absolutely amazing meal, the food and service was exceptional, best meal we’ve had in a while! A hidden gem in Woolacombe run by two lovely people, who offer very good value, fresh food and a lovely warm welcome. Catering for gluten free and dog friendly made this a must visit for us and we were not disappointed! Dishes can be adapted to gluten free, as everything is cooked from scratch. I highly recommend if you’re in Woolacombe 5 stars We will definitely be back and recommending to friends."
