Great value, food all looked lovely and good to see rolls being made up to order. Belgian buns are amazing. Staff very friendly

This is a pleasant tea room with friendly staff. I ate a delicious Cornish Pastie for lunch in the cafe area. This was reasonably priced.

Popped in following trip to Abbey and Battlefield. Had ham sandwich with lovely fresh bread followed by delicious scones with jam and cream. Very reasonably priced Speisekarte ansehen

Popped here for a lite bite before visiting the Abbey. Opted for a ham salad sandwich with a cup of tea followed by a Bath bun and husband had a ham and cheese sandwich followed by a London cheesecake. The sandwiches were made fresh and were lovely.

Best cup of tea. We were spoilt with the choice of cakes, bread and pastries, all home made on the premises. Prices were reasonable, locals said this is the best bakery in town, proved by the fact that there was a constant stream of satisfied customers.

We called in for a coffee with our elderly greyhound having been attracted by the mouth watering cake display in the window. It's also nice to know that your dog is welcome and it proved even more so when she was offered a sausage that was readily accepted. Friendly staff too. Speisekarte ansehen

Amazing cakes provided for a family funeral. The staff couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful and made the whole process so easy. A feast of cup cakes, doughnuts,brownies, millionaires shortbread, pastries and rocky roads were delivered direct to the venue and surpassed all expectations, and superb value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend this business.

I recently came to Battle Bakes and Cakes with my mum for her birthday. We sat in the back of the bakery and shared a cream tea and a big glazed bun (possibly called a Bath bun . The bun and scones were the best we have ever tasted, we loved it! The clotted cream was gorgeous and the coffee was excellent. We will definitely be back and have recommended the bakery to my nan and auntie and will continue to do so to many other people. The staff were so friendly and lovely and it is excellent value for money. Thank you! :

Staff aren’t friendly at all, even to regular visitors. the hygiene training also needs revisiting. Handling money with the same gloves you handle food with is not ok. I have lived locally for a year and am shocked at the constant price increases…£1.80 for a chocolate shortbread? It was £1.60 last week and even that was too expensive. Its insanity, even with the current inflation. Much as I like to support independent businesses, I do have my limits. I’ll be buying from a supermarket from now on and getting a whole cake for the same price! Speisekarte ansehen
