"Here in France, it's difficult to find Japanese food that isn't "sushi" (you get the occasional rare teppanyaki or ramen but even then it's rare), so to find a restaurant that specialises in bento boxes... what a find! The food was beautifully presented and was absolutely delicious. My partner went with the prawns, and I chose the bento box of the moment, which was eel fish. Both were really good. The drinks and desserts were also exceptional; my partner really enjoyed his fruit tea.The service was excellent; waiting time was a little bit longish but reasonable considering how the food was prepared right before our very eyes, as soon as we placed our orders. The owner/chef/waiter was incredibly friendly, and explained the concept to all the diners before we placed our orders. The only thing about this restaurant is that diners have to sit at bar counters, which makes it difficult for young children or people with limited mobility to dine here. The price of the meal was incredibly reasonable, and the restaurant also offers 5% discount for takeaways (although we really enjoyed the beautiful ambiance of the restaurant). We recommend booking ahead to ensure there are seats available, because this place only sits 8 for the moment!"

Nous avons bien mangé. Nous avons pris le bento crevette et avons été agréablement bien surpris. A recommander.

Warm welcome and very good atmosphere! I loved what I ate and prices are quite reasonable given the quality and quantity (75 euros for 5). I'll come back to test the other dishes!

it's been a long time since I've been thrown away from the feet: amazing and original presentation of Japanese eating and a discovery of different high-end sake! our server was so passionate and needed the time to make the process of making different. arten der Lieben! it was delicious, original and even if very small venue, comfortable and so pleasant we went 2 nights in order! Do not miss it, as it is not too busy yet, they have opened 6 months ago. in 6 months we will not be able to get close to the place without waiting for a small corner at the bar. great work and their passion for what they deliver is a loss art! get up! bravo!

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
