Best Italian Fish - Speisekarte

we shared a mixed seafood platter that was ample for 2, very fresh and cooked to perfection. Outdoor dining was off the main street, very quiet and restful.

We found it by chance and got positively surprised. Excellent starter (mix plate) and nice main dishes. We went twice and got satisfied. The service is sometimes a bit easy.

My boyfriend ordered calamari griglia and i got salmone griglia. We were totally happy with our decision! The stuff was super friendly and super fast! Thanks for the service.

Excellent freshly prepared to order not sure why someone else. Said it was all frozen our table was by open kitchen and we watched the fish being fillet to order good large portions in batter as light as air lovely staff nothing was to much bother

Nice restaurant with simple sea-inspired decoration, the service is nice and efficient and the food is delicious. We had the anchovies, risotto and marinara spaghetti, plus a taste of the desserts and a great wine that the owner suggested. I would recommend this place for a quiet and tasty dinner, if you're anywhere near La Spezia.

One of the best meals we had in Italy, hands down! Friendly service, relaxing location on a small piazza, and delicious fish dishes! The spaghetti with clams was so fresh and delicious. Also the salads my husband had the caprese, which he ate every last bite of, and he doesn't usually even like salads. The shrimp salad was also super yummy. Highly recommend!

The cutter plate, one with cheese, one with meats, was very quality and the fruit of st jacobs, and we had high hopes about our friture missing from the fish, but even if the crusts, Some tarter or tzatziki would be a plus. Same for the semi-freddo with basilica and hazelnut sauce was a few flebos, a little salt on the crumb would give a better effect. Control was very kind.

BIF is a great restaurant for seafood lovers. We enjoyed a very tasty meal at an outdoor table. The grilled salmon was well prepared and accompanied by an intriguing variety of side dishes. The other dinner, a salmon salad, was unique and made both a filling and an adventurous meal. The service was very professional, and the host a warm and genuine gentleman. I wish BIF was not so far from home!

The place is quite easy going and sees a sort of standard menu out of which you can pick what you want. No variations though, so if you don’t like what is on the list, that’s it. We tried fish ’n’ chips and fried calamari. A little too abundant in oil and the fired fish comes out too greasy but again, not too bad for the price you are charged. Waiters are young and not prepared (possibly students on summer job) apart from one who seems to control them all so… try to get served by this guy or the service is really low. I asked what fish was used for fish ’n’ chips and nobody seemed to know! It was hilarious. All in all, though, nothing extraordinary but not bad quality. Pretty average so the...
