Called as a last thought and got 2 breakfast buns , service friendly and buns were great value for money and extremely tasty

The food at this restaurant is absolutely beautiful, delicious, and satisfying. I can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu!

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always been happy with the service and food quality. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, including dietary information. The best part is that the food is always freshly made, authentic, and delicious.

Total breath of fresh air, The Big Bamboo is the only authentic Asian Deli in the north east. We have sampled various dishes on the menu and have utilised their home dining service on quite a few occassions and have always been amazed at the quality and quantity of the food. Keep up the good work!! Love it!

Hadn't been anywhere recently due to Covid restrictions but decided to venture out and order a take-away to collect.Great Covid measures in place whilst waiting for our order, ready at the time ordered too. Have to say the Burger is amazing plus the Thai Crispy Chicken superb, well done Helen and Andy for your amazing menu, best take-away in Hartlepool. I am a fan of South East Asian cuisine, so I was thrilled to unexpectedly come across this restaurant. The menu offers a variety of dishes and salads from Thailand, Vietnam, as well as some Korean and Chinese options. It's not the usual fare you find at a typical Chinese takeout. I opted for the Jungle Noodle salad with satay chicken, which was deliciously fresh and had a nice level of spiciness. I will definitely return to indulge in the daily specials.

The seating area was packed and not one person with a mask or observing distancing.I waited for 20 minutes to get served, I wanted a simple salad box.I watched one pair of tongs being used for fish, meat, salad and cheese as a guy prepared salads for table service.As the only pair of tongs they had was being used the female who was serving me put gel on her hands and then used her bare hands to put the salad into the box and proceeded to toss the lettuce about!I was shocked and wanted to walk out but the place was packed and I didn't want to embarrass myself, so I paid over £6 for a salad that I threw in the bin. Never again will I go back! They need plastic gloves, masks and a pair of tongs...

Came here for lunch, took a seat. There were a couple of other tables in, about 3 other pairs. Waitress took a while to come and take our drink order. While she was taking our order my friend said he wasn’t sure yet what he wanted and the waitress emphasised that she was taking our drink order, not our food. That was odd to say the least. Drinks took a while, took about 10 minutes for us to have our food order taken. A couple left while we were waiting for our food because nobody took their order. Food came and wasn’t great, rice was dry. Menus also need indicators of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free food as it’s unclear in places and most other cafes/restaurants have this.
