"Just a killing. During the weekend in Le Mans we chose this restaurant based on the reviews and ratings. And honestly... we haven't enjoyed ourselves like this in ages. All. Absolutely everything was delicious. There were 6 of us, each with different dishes and everything was excellent. The mash is delicious, the pork cheeks with mushrooms, the beef steak!!! I'm not a meat lover but these layers of beef superimposed to form a pavement topped with homemade sauce... Rahlala. If we had to come back it would just be to eat in this place again. The service at the top, the owners... but just adorable and attentive as ever with children and parents. Really, 10/10 don't change anything. Please move to Vendée!! Looking forward to coming back"

"3 weeks on holiday in the caravan in the Dordogne and a little overnight stop in Le Mans, Yvre L'Eveque campsite, on the way back to Calais. We decided we would see if we could find a nice restaurant after the long drive. Le Boeuf Tient Le Pave certainly did not disappoint. The warmth of the welcome and the smiles of the excellent service team throughout the evening was exceptional (I wish we could say it was characteristic of all the restaurants we had been to this holiday - Sarlat restaurants take note).The menu itself did not offer a great deal of choice but the food was absolutely superb and at 21E was really excellent value. It has a great wine list which is also very reasonable. They make a great pre-dinner G+T by the way. Thoroughly recommended."

"I can say that I have been going there for about 13 years or so , never had any problems, only compliments. Last Saturday was the worse time I've ever spent there. We were greeted by a speedy Gonzales of a chef de salle/service who was extremely disrespectful, unprofessional and out of line/control. When we got there, we prepared our pass sanitaire to show her, she told us that she was going to check it later. SHE NEVER DID thus putting ALL of us in jeopardy. From unpleasantly talking down to people to going as far as throwing the utensils that we asked for on the table. When I had enough of her behavior, I asked to speak with the manager, she stated that she was in charge and to go sit down almost just as if I was her child. I did ask her to NOT return at our table and to let us finish our meal STRESS FREE. At least she respected that and sent us other beautiful souls. All of the other colleagues were excellent and very professional. As we were leaving, she was downstairs, we said goodbye to her and her colleague, she didn't even bother acknowledging us. I called the restaurant this morning, spoke with someone who told me that they were aware and somewhat denied that the allegations ever took place and NEVER even bother to apologize. The reason for this LOW review is to put management on guard to make sure that sanitary rules are there for a reason and a chef de service busy or not should NEVER EVER behave as such. Besides that, the food is and has always been excellent except this behavioral problem."

"Nous avons passé une très bonne soirée. Le cadre est très sympa avec en plus un accueil chaleureux. Il y a un large choix de plats, le service est parfait et les serveurs sont aux petits soins pour les clients. Pour les plats nous nous sommes régalés avec le cochon de lait par la qualité mais aussi la quantité. Le repas était parfait et nous n'avons pas hésiter à le signaler en sortant car il ne faut pas seulement le dire quand ça ne va pas."

"Hot goat salad: toast, little salad, lack of sauce, cold goat, a piece of polystyrene to find in the salad excuse it was just quickly made said by the waitress but all. But still good. these just to improve and avoid surpluses that are not food. Mountain sturgeon double meat: nothing to say, very good bergeur. just cooking level I asked for bleeding I had a well cooked stock and a blue limit. for the desert I chose a colonel: the waitress came with my desert but went back to the kitchen just before serving it, then came back to me, saying, I quote these words: I'm sorry I went back to the kitchen to make your desert again because I saw a weird thing without specifying any other things. It doesn't feel like it, but the desert wasn't bad. ambience level: good atmosphere, nice room with beautiful decorations of beautiful table. a pity that two people ( Probably an employee/seasoner and probably a person responsible) took their heads in front of the world. The servers are nice, very smiling. these good ones, but his rest has to be improved on some point even because for 70th these just ones."
