We were directed to this restaurant during C19 restrictions by our Hotel staff. Food was excellent and a very reasonable price. Staff were attentive and we felt safe with their C19 precautions. On the downside we could only pay by cash (no problem really as cash machine outside) but overall recommended!

Since restaurants reopened we have now been here twice and due again on Saturday. Each time they didnt disappoint considering the amount of stress covid lockdowns have placed on everthing it was nice to get some normal . The meal arrived quickly and the waiters helpful . The menu is varied and always tasty .

Had a meal here recently while on holiday with friends. Very quiet, but it was a Tuesday. Pops and pics were good. I had tandoori chicken, rice, bhuna sauce and garlic naan. Only criticism not much garlic in the naan. Other than that, very nice. Reasonable prices. Came in at £66 for 3 of us including drinks.

Livid. Spilt my entire Archer’s and Lemonade down my penis (very manly), so that’s pissed me off straight away. No apology. No offer of a new drink AND a very exploitive service charge on the bill. If anything, they should be paying me for the awful service. Onion Bhaji was more cardboardy than my Howden’s kitchen box.

We have a takeaway from The Bombay several times a year. On Saturday evening Iordered by telephone and picked up on time. The owner/ manager Shohid was his usual friendly self and made me feel like a valued customer. The food was enjoyed by us all it was tasty and well presented with generous portion sizes. I will continue to come to The Bombay and recommend it highly.

Well what a lovely find, this Indian restaurant is fantastic.. we had lamb passanda and chicken korma. the lamb was in big lean chunky bits that melted in the mouth... The dips with the poppadoms were great, the raita dip the best i have had, and the lime pickle.....brilliant. although taking the dips away is always disappointing when the main course comes which seems standard in every Indian restaurant we have visited, although my wife still had a half a poppadom left.. We looked at each other and said, oh ok.. we Highly recommend this restaurant

Horrible place, worse service. We came in very excited to have Indian food, booked ahead of time, arrived and quickly got seated! We were off to a really good start. We then ordered drinks and food, drinks came in right away. Everything seem to be working just great. Well 1 hour and 15 minutes later, nothing had changed: no food, no waiter ever came back to ask us if we needed anything. So then we asked politely what was going on with the food. And we were answered “we needed to wait longer” as if a 90 mins wait was totally normal... we stood up, paid for our drinks and gently left. Horrible place, don’t recommend ever visiting it if you are used at being treated like a normal human being.

Hello. I was recommended this restaurant, although I had my uncertainties due to previous reviews. I booked it for 10 of us as a family treat. When we arrived a member of staff, who turned out to be the manager, looked at us blankly and made no effort to seat us it was another staff member who stepped in and took us to our table (Nice chap). The manager came over to take the order and just stared at each of us like we were a complete inconvenience, no talking or assistance. The food was ok and most staff friendly but the manager is a very rude man and I will not be putting money in his pocket again.
