I loved this place. a warm, cost-effective, rustic environment. eating is great. the scones are beautiful looking and the best I had so far.

popped in as tourists for light lunch and the soup and home made soda bread excellent. Decor is shabby and little lacking but really nice people and liked the atmosphere

the cakes and bakers here are fantastic. excellent scenarios and delicious brownie. the biscoff was a large balance of saltiness, biscoff and decadent chocolate. return when we return to stratford to avon Speisekarte ansehen

After paying for our meal, the owner approached us and admitted to making a mistake in adding up our bill, offering us a refund for the overcharge. We wished this cafe was closer to home so we could become regulars.

Stopped by for a Baileys hot chocolate and a cuppa, plus a raspberry cheesecake. Simple gorgeous cake 10/10. Will definitely be back when all this tier stuff is over. Hot chocolate was very welcome on a cold winters day!

we had the luck to go by today and to visit stratford for the first time in years. we bought two amazing castors and the two species of sodabrot were for to die! wish that we were not 50 minutes away so that some more could snap! Speisekarte ansehen

This restaurant is a hidden gem. We enjoyed a wonderful cup of coffee followed by a delicious sausage and bacon baguette that was served hot and fresh. The service was excellent as well. We chose to sit at the front of the restaurant, which was probably the best spot for this time of year. There is also a conservatory area at the back of the property, but it can be rather cold on a crisp day like today. You may want to keep your coat on if you choose to sit in that area.

We dropped by for coffee and cake on a Sunday morning. Despite being busy, we were lucky to snag a table as someone was leaving. We cleaned the table ourselves as the staff were very busy. We placed our order at the counter and overheard what seemed to be the owner or manager speaking condescendingly to a young employee. Our order took a while to arrive and was not correct, but we decided to make do and quickly finished our drinks and left. It might be a better experience when it's not as crowded.

6 Dec 2019 Looked good from the outside. Upon asking for a menu the male at the order point said 'there will be one on the table '. Alas, only available seats were upstairs by the one toilet. This 'room ' was dirty, in need of decoration and there was a toilet roll on one of the tables. No menu available so we 'cadged ' one from another visitor. The tables still had previous visitors plates and rubbish on the tables. The lady that took the order was friendly enough (2 aussie sausage rolls, 1 'mahoosive ' chorizo sausage roll, tea, cappachino and a glass of red wine). The order took 20 minutes to arrive, the drinks another 5 minutes. The 'mahoosive ' s/r wasn 't what I would call 'massive '.... Speisekarte ansehen
