Lovely food, good portion sizes, a nice ambience with friendly service, despite being short staffed. Overall I would recommend.

eating was excellent, but the service is a big let down staff are extremely slow, which is a scandal, like any dish we had beautiful, although we waited for too long

My steak was not bad but my wife's burger was awful. Salty, thin and burnt. Would not go back but as a meal in a moderate hotel, you could not complain, just would not go back. Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely post graduation meal. Service was excellent very friendly staff and all congratulated me for graduating. Food was excellent and the 3 course for £25 was great for a celebratory meal. Delicious salmon starter and pannacotta for dessert.

Nice surroundings. Contemporary feel. Front of house team friendly. Service a bit slow. Food nicely presented. Tasted good. Expensive for what you get. Wouldn’t have expected chips to be (or appear to be) frozen. Brunch on Saturday a completely different affair. Perfect!

the main menu was mainly curries, burgers, salads or pizzas and what we had was well cooked and presented and tasted good. the desert menu was very disappointing – a chocolate pudding, ice cream and sorbets or cheese. the cheese plate had not listed everything in the menu. our waitresses we love, they were very busy and as result service was slow, but they were happy and efficient. I was shown to my table very quickly and given a choice of seats. I asked for the early bird offer that I had seen on the TV in the room, the gentleman serving said he would come back to me. Some of the team seemed to be searching in the cupboards for the menu, however he came back after 3-4 mins and explained what it was. My drinks order was brought over quickly and I asked to order, this was repeated to me and was cooked quickly. The standard of food was very good, except for the peppercorn sauce which tasted ok but was very runny.

Unfortunately, our experience in the bramleys brasserie in orchard hotel was not good. before the conclusion of my daughter at the university nottingham we had a solemn evening meal. the service was extremely slow and some of the food served was tepid and sub-standard. we sat like booked at 7.30 a.m., but don't leave the restaurant until 9.45 a.m. waiting workers were pleasant enough, but seemed badly managed and not even know the table plan. the time between order and first curs and then first and second courses was too long. I had to ask where our desserts wait for 30 minutes. two of the four most important courses we ordered were tepid/cold and all chips were stale. I have addressed these...

when we were there, they said we didn't book. we ordered a bottle of wine, half an hour later they came back and said they ran out of the wine, 10 minutes after the waitress returned with a bottle of wine. the ordered appetizers took almost 1 hour to complain to us after 3 times, once arrived they were not hot. the main course lasted almost 2 hours to come back, had to complain several times, to the luck was hot, although the tip of my rice was clear dried out. we were next to teenagers (some kind of summer school) very loud and around like teenagers. Nevertheless, the restaurant should have put them in a functional room and not beside fully paying customers, I do not blame the youth at all.... Speisekarte ansehen
