La Marée Barfleur - Speisekarte

The oysters were great and the rest of the seafood ordered by the four of us was equally of excellent quality, well cooked and delicious. One of the best meals of our entire trip.

We came for lunch but we're very disappointed. The crab was ok as was the gezier salad. We had modules and driest which were so disappointing. Poorly seasoned. Rather wrinkly as if they had been kept warm or reheated.would not return.

Very windy day at the beginning of may.Sat outside,the inside was packed.Lots of barriers stopping the wind so was good.Service was spot on and we found the food very good.Prices ok.I've seen lots of mixed reviews but we found this place really good. Speisekarte ansehen

This restaurant has a nice, outside heated area which was fine in October.Service and food were all very good and highly recommended.Not expensive.No view of the harbour as the car park is in the way, but other than that, well worth a visit for lunch.

En route to ferry and time to kill so went up eastern side of peninsula for a change. Much nicer than alternative routes and came across Barfleur .a real gem. Late afternoon and only cold food after 1500. Enjoyed some lovely oysters and crevettes. Service prompt and attentive. Prices moderate.

The soup should never have been served. The waiter had spilled soup out of the bowl and the red coloured water was without any taste of fish, it was awful. For a price of 9,90 euro. We had asked for bread and had to pay 2,50 for some tiny pieces with no good taste.This dish is not a fish soup! Speisekarte ansehen

Ate lunch after a stroll around the harbour. I ordered entrecôte and it wasn't the medium I asked for and was very fatty. It also swimmed in grease. The French fries were hot but again greasy. They did a plate of desert for 6,50 euro inc an expresso looked good. Not the best French food I've had !

My partner and I visited here early evening for a meal. The staff were extremely helpful but only speak a little English. The food was good value and served quickly. We were allowed to bring our dog to sit under the table whilst we ate. My partner had the Moules, which were excellent and great value. The total bill, including drinks, was €39.00 Worth a visit

The main restaurant was full so we sat in the outside canvas addition on a wet and windy day. Despite this the lunch was good and when they put the heaters on it warmed up nicely and people poured in and we could see this is a very popular restaurant. Unfortunately, the electricity kept cutting out!Good value and delicious we will revisit and also realised we had drinks there with friends in August 2012 Speisekarte ansehen
