"Been to this place a few times, sit and takeaway. While I cannot fault the food as it is always tasty and well presented, they do seem to be forgetful. Was in a few weeks ago, got Chicken Goujons and chips with Garlic and Sweet chilli dips to takeaway and a Caramel Rise crispy Square, brought back to the office was delicious and really enjoyed but today they lost their memory. Said to me I couldnt have gotten them there and they do not offer as takeaway. This was only 2 weeks ago so someone has got it wrong. Very disspointing that they did not seem to beleive me and even asked was I sure it was in their establishment. Not good to question a customer like that. Anyhow, did not seem to be getting though to them, all four of them. Order a toastie and a carmel rice crispy square, Toasties lovely, Carmel Rice Crispy Square was not in the bag, just a plain one. It was nice but not a s nice as the others. Lesson, do not agrue with customers, if they say they got something they got it. Pity , as the food is good. Update, still not been back, no reply from the resturant. That means they still believe their own PR. Update 20th Feb 2024, have been back recently and really cannot fault the food, sandwiches , good choices and some lovely tray bakes. Appreciate the chef reply to reviews and explaining the situation."

"This charming pub with a view of the sea is a hidden gem. As you enter, you can't help but feel like you're stepping onto a cozy boat, but the place is surprisingly spacious with ample seating upstairs. We visited for lunch on a Friday and the atmosphere was wonderful. We tried the seafood and meat chowder, as well as the chicken flatbread, both of which were bursting with flavor, generously portioned, and incredibly fresh. The service was exceptional and friendly, catering to our every need. The mix of clientele added to the lively ambiance. Upstairs seating offers stunning views of the sea. We highly recommend this place! Average cost per person is £20-30. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Recommended dishes: Seafood Chowder."

"Hi just needed to leave this review ordered a pizza from pizza works fortwilliam tonight with a barbecue base and they made a mistake and made it with tomato base so when the delivery guy turned up he had brought both pizzas at no extra charge were anywhere else would of thrown it out we order from here nearly every week and have to say they are the absolute best and the staff from the girl answering the phone to take your order to the delivery guy are amazing superb value for money and always piping hot when you get it definitely recommend any one who hasn’t had a pizza from here to try them A star pizza and service Ps try the chicken goujons chickens there absolutely amazing"

"I had the pleasure of being invited to The Spice Merchant in Whiteabbey for a preview of their new takeaway in Eden, Carrickfergus. I met both the front-of-house and kitchen staff, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. The food was top-notch—delicious and beautifully presented, all enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely return to this restaurant, as well as to their new takeaway in Eden, just outside Carrickfergus. As for wheelchair accessibility, the restaurant is all on one level, and the doors are wide enough for easy wheelchair access."
