"I had the pleasure of being invited to The Spice Merchant in Whiteabbey for a preview of their new takeaway in Eden, Carrickfergus. I met both the front-of-house and kitchen staff, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. The food was top-notch—delicious and beautifully presented, all enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely return to this restaurant, as well as to their new takeaway in Eden, just outside Carrickfergus. As for wheelchair accessibility, the restaurant is all on one level, and the doors are wide enough for easy wheelchair access."

After thirty minutes of sitting at our table with menus in front of us, we still hadn't had our food order taken, and there were only four other tables occupied in the restaurant. My partner still hadn’t received his pint, and the waiter returned once more to say they couldn't do that cocktail either. At this point, we had lost all confidence after sitting there for half an hour without drinks or any food order. We decided to leave without bothering to stay. I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon.
