Brunch At Haugen - Speisekarte

This is our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood, highly recommended. The management and staff are excellent, we can't wait to come back!

The restaurant is back in good form! It was nice to enjoy dishes from their regular menu again, without the need for a special menu. It's great to be back and enjoy a delicious meal.

short. beautiful environment, good Christmas atmosphere. we had the burgers really excellent and good value for money. service was good. bill abused for water as filled but corrected without problems.

The service at this restaurant was excellent, but unfortunately, the Fondue did not live up to expectations. Additionally, the price for the dish seemed a bit high considering the quality of the bread and cheese.

A disappointing visit to Haugen, half of the main menu was unavailable but we weren't made aware until we were seated with drinks. They also refused my OpenTable cheque, although they are listed as one of the restaurants that accepts them. This was our 3rd probably our last visit. Shame.

The Resturant itself was nice to look at and quite comfortable. The food was very overpriced especially for the small quantity. The desert was just not nice and the device was very slow. Upstairs the bar was nice and much better atmosphere however we took so long downstairs that when we finally went upstairs, it was almost closing time.

Great restaurant, something a little different and done very well. We had an Alpine evening enjoying cheese fondue and raclette .. and even a chocolate fondue for desert. Quality of food was great and it was good to see Austrian wines on the wine list. All pretty reasonable price wise, but thought the desert (chocolate fondue) was expensive for what it was .. but if fresh fruit and melted chocolate £12:50 a head .. But all in all really lovely and we will be returning

The food portion was very small i felt i had pasta and it looked like a child's portion. I know times are hard for everyone...but it was pasta? The venue however was really quite nice, the toilets were very quirky and clean. The young lady concierge who showed us to our tables and our main female waitress were very friendly and personable. The man who i believe was the manager who took our order (he didnt have on a uniform) however we felt was quite stand offish. He was efficient and to the point which i suppose is what's important, but he wasnt very personable in comparison to the other staff. I guess in this day and age, its that little extra like personality that differentiates one place...

Serving staff and hosting was first class: Friendly,prompt and attentive. However, the food rather disappointed. The curry wurst was made with a tasty sauce but contained very little of a rather bland sausage. The meal really amounted to a plate of chips covered with a curry sauce. More like street food than a restaurant offering; an average one at that. The wine list was heavily biased toward expensive offerings but we found one at £24. It was very,very average. Unusual in restaurants these days, where the wine offerings have improved considerably over the last few years.
