historical place that offers dishes of the tradition of Trieste and Austrian at honest prices. very kind and prepared staff. absolutely to taste the cured Trieste ham with the kren. recommended recommended

We were a party of 4 and 1 was vegetarian. Of course we knew that this Restaurant was known for its meat specialities. We kindly asked for 1 vegetarian menue. Their reaction was very unfriendly and they threated us very bad. The quality of the meat (Gulash, Ragout, Wienerschnitzel) was very bad and top expensive! Never ever again! Speisekarte ansehen

Authentic restaurant with local cuisine. Food was delicious and owner was welcoming and helped us with choices. We were only staying one night and so glad we found this restaurant. It’s a bit off the main section for restaurants but we’ll worth the extra 5 minutes walk to get there. You won’t be disappointed with this restaurant. All locals in when we were there always a good recommendation!

Very nice lunch. House wines were good. Prosciutto cotto flavorful and tender. Wiener Schnitzel large and tender with a light breading. Gnocco di prugne very good. Good coffee. Certainly not a light lunch. But very enjoyable. Server was reserved but professional. Food arrived relatively quickly. Only concern was the prosciutto was advertised as an etto and it was not, in my opinion, an etto. Prices a bit higher for a Buffett- but not exaggerated. Overall good place with typical Trieste foods. I’d return.

we decided to have lunch here even if we were slightly tight with the times before we went to get the train. and we did only well! Traditional menu and quality, quite low prices, and quite generous amounts. the manager communicates quickly and effectively, but kind and friendly. Really a good lunch! I did not seem to be a particularly touristic place and for this reason deserves a visit. I mean, everything we ate was really good! important: do not underestimate the julianska!
