buffet with typical products from Trieste but in a very pleasant location. we had the fortune to find the cooked ham in freshly made bread crust. from Trieste I really enjoyed many things that we divided and tasted among friends. good also the wine of the house and excellent desserts including the dumplings of susini. booking advice especially on weekends

Authentic restaurant with local cuisine. The food was delicious and the owner was welcoming and helped us in the choice. We were just one night and so glad we found this restaurant. It's a bit outside the main area for restaurants, but we'll get the extra 5 minutes walk to get there. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. we chose to dine in this place after doing an online search and reading the numerous positive reviews. we were not disappointed at all: the place is small (we recommend to book a table) but really nice and characteristic, we were welcomed with kindness and professionalism and we ate very well. we ordered bread dumplings with the gulash, exceptional, and an excellent lubianska, but the real surprise was the sweet, a delicious gnocco of plums. excellent price quality ratio, especially considering the abundance of portions. highly recommended.

historic place in the city center, with a selection of dishes that range in the culinary history and not only of trieste. four people, for a total of 140€, price in line with what you ate: two sautéed pedoci dishes, homemade cutlets with seafood (shown egg cutlets,) bread and potatoes dumplings with goulash, grilled squids and a ljubljanska with kaymak and ham that was widely enough for two people, as well as wine and beer. home cooking, quality, great service, direct and without frills as it waits from a place like this. More than recommended.
