"I've been eating a couple of lunches today and bought a fresh scrap sandwich and a drink. the choice here is just great and the sandwich was prepared for me while I waited. it was absolutely delicious! here is a fantastic selection of freshly prepared meals. relish also has a seating area and located directly on the road, I don't need an excuse to dive back soon! fantastic. I could resist the fresh cream cake this time, but I don't think I would do it again, it looked amazing! thank you all."

"What a truly exceptional dining experience this evening, utterly faultless Each course was beautifully presented and the ingredients meticulously explained. The quality of locally sourced, caught and foraged produce was excellent, beautifully balanced and the portion sizing perfect for a tasting menu with multiple courses (this is not your standard three course menu). We thoroughly enjoyed an amazing two hour culinary experience My wife has dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and this wasn’t an issue. Some of our dishes varied slightly and, as with any great restaurant, they created equally tasty and enjoyable dishes even with these constraints First class all the way, great service, great food, a highlight of our holiday, many thanks to all!!"

"While staying in the highlands we spent a day on the Isle of Skye. We had our quite large dog with us, so lunch needed to be somewhere we could accommodate him while we ate, and McKenzie’s Bakery, opposite the car park, had picnic benches outside we thought would work well. The menu is simple; sandwiches, salads and baked potatoes, not to mention tempting-looking cakes on display, as well as a decent selection of hot drinks. The queue, although out of the door due to local school lunchtime, was very swiftly dealt with, and no obstruction to a great lunch. We ordered three rolls (ham, cheese and chutney, and chicken tikka), which all came with fresh salad inside, plus a jacket potato with beans and cheese. The cheese was that lovely sharp tasting Scottish orange cheddar; the chicken tikka roll garnered particular praise from our teenage son. I had read to expect to pay a little more on Skye for lunch. It’s a tourist area and an island, and we’re fine with that. When I paid I was pleasantly surprised by the cost, about £24 for four lunches and hot drinks. The stream of local teens buying lunch in their school break is testament to this being a great place to stop."

"We had a great dining experience at this restaurant. I ordered the cauliflower tacos and my husband got the chicken dish. The cheeseboard featured a delicious variety of Scottish cheeses, including blue murder, Arran with mustard seeds, Clara Brie, and a smoked cheese. We requested more oatcakes, which was accommodated without any issue. The only downside was the lackluster decor of the beige room upstairs, which had little atmosphere. However, the staff were friendly and attentive."

"Had to wait about an hour to get in on a Saturday night. The fish and chips I can definitely recommend, while the Scottish cheese platter is definite no go it's just 3 pieces of cheese and some extra fruits for 12 pounds, hardly seemed worth it. Service was not great, the servers were struggling to keep up with the pace as the evening was quite busy, asked for extra plates and had to ask twice, hard to catch their glance if you need something. Regarding the wait although there were 4+ tables free people were being told to wait for 15 20 minutes, really not sure why. Not only that, but people were either not let into the corridor into the restaurant or were let in, but the door wasn't closed and a breeze kept being let in."
