We had dinner here on our honeymoon. Beautiful view of the Portree harbor, wonderful staff, and delicious food.

Schönes Essen und ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Service war auch ausgezeichnet. Nicht der Umgebungsbereich, da ich im Barbereich oben auf der Treppe in einer dunklen Ecke war, aber ansonsten ein schönes Abendessen

Keine Atmosphäre, überteuertes und enttäuschendes Essen. Stil über Substanz und war froh raus zu kommen. Kein gutes kulinarisches Erlebnis Winzige Portionen, gehen Sie also nicht hierher, wenn Sie hungrig sind, da Sie auf dem Heimweg auf eine Tüte Pommes zusteuern

We went here for dinner. I think from the outside it doesn 't look very appealing but inside I really liked it, it 's cosy. The view from the Restaurant is really nice, that 's certainly something special in Portree. Food was fresh but still quite average and definitely expensive. The service was good, but not overly friendly. (I heard the waitress gossiping about other guests which from my POV is a no go .

Restaurant review The restaurant is lovely, nice selection of seasonal food and plenty of options in terms of drinks. The main bartender greeted us and apologised as he was the only one working tonight as the other waiter had phoned in sick. Honestly, couldn't tell the difference he was superb and had such a cheery attitude it made the evening just that much better. Would definitely come back for the food and the service.

Wir haben das Essen genossen: Ich hatte Blumenkohl-Tacos und mein Mann hatte das Huhn. Die Käseplatte war eine schöne Auswahl an schottischen Käsesorten: Blue Mord, Arran mit Senfkörnern, Clara Brie und ein geräucherter Käse. Wir baten um mehr Haferkuchen und das war kein Problem. Was es im Stich ließ, war die Einrichtung, da das Zimmer ein ziemlich wenig inspirierendes beiges Zimmer mit wenig Atmosphäre oben auf der Treppe ist. Die Angestellten waren sehr nett

Our favorite stay in the UK by far! The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with phenomenal views. It was a perfect stay in the centre of Portree during our visit to Isle of Skye. Above all else, I cannot rave more about the service from the team at the Rosedale. Pieter and Dawn went above and beyond our expectations in the care they provided during our stay. From taking special care of our little one, having a high chair ready to go for us at breakfast, lovely conversations to keeping the bar section's lights on later so that I would get some work done, we were so well looked after. Without a doubt, we will be back!

It's not a bad hotel, but it could use vast improvements. I stayed one night. Long review ahead... Staff Service: Accommodating and lovely. They deserve five stars, but the hotel itself does not. Location: Right along the water. Great views (from the restaurant). Food: The breakfast was overcooked. Not good when I needed a steak knife to cut my eggs and hash-brown. Hotel: A very trusting hotel. No outside doors are locked overnight, so anyone could wander in. I assume there are no homeless drunks in Portree because where I'm from, there would homeless sleeping in the hallways. Room: Stayed in the Partial View room, and is overpriced. Unless you enjoy the view of parked cars, noise, an outdat...
