"We came to Nimes by train and went to dinner. That was the first restaurant we met. We were immediately addressed by a waiter who has not spoken a single word English (yes I know we are in France, but some English skills are expected anyway). We have a table and then she was sitting on a table for a while talking to some other guests. After we got the menu, we got a fast French menu guide. Since we do not speak French, we had some language problems, of course, but we ordered our food. The food came to our table within reasonable time, at least for three of us. Another waiter then asked what the last person should have. Then we had to order dinner for the fourth person again. When we finished, the last dinner came to our table. The food was good!"

We're both disappointed, we're on the terrace for a drink.

We were between two trains with 45-50 minutes to eat! Not only were we served in 10 minutes, but the meal was excellent and warm. We took the hamburger of the day and sunk! I strongly advise!

Just outside the station, ideal for a breakfast (with freshly pressed orange juice) or an express sandwich before a train. The staff is very effective, attentive and smiling and friendly. Thank you! Speisekarte ansehen

Just across the street from the station, this is a great place to have a good price breakfast set (sweetened juice, coffee, croissant, and bread/butter/jam). Sit outside and enjoy watching people come and go!

The Brasserie des Fleurs in front of the station of Nîmes and its outdoor terrace where it is so pleasant to wait for its train. The staff is pleasant and smiling. It is one of the most important places in Nimes and it is so much better because it is always well received.

We stopped for breakfast and ordered their formula. Looks good at 5,90 €. But no croissant or pastries, only bread. Service was extremely slow and the waitress was rude. Avoid a tourist trap! You need to understand what good customer service is. It's the first time we've met this in Nimes

"Enoteca has only been going 6 months or so which may explain the lack of reviews on TripAdvisor but don't let that put you off dining here. We'd been staying close by for the week and hadn't realised at first that this restaurant is also linked to a great little deli about 10 doors down on the same rue. So you have two great places to discover! We stopped in there for a glass of wine first in the last of the days sun before heading to the restaurant for dinner. The owner is a lovely, attentive guy who is clearly very passionate about his Italian produce; food and wine! Over dinner we were well looked after and shared delicious burrata as starter, followed by two authentic Italian pasta dishes for main course. The beef in mine was rich and tender, obviously having been cooked for hours. Dessert were small coffees with a delicious citrus mouse on the side and plenty of biscotti biscuits to dip. Drinks wise we'd enjoyed a glass of white at the deli but moved onto passionfruit spritz for aperitifs followed by a delicious Nero d'Avola to match our mains. This red was fantastically smooth and fruity, with no hint of tannins in the after taste. I was surprised that the place wasn't packed out on a Friday night but there is a festival in town for a couple of days so that could be keeping people busy, but this place will surely gain in popularity and in the rankings in Nimes very soon. Recommend this Italian restaurant which suits this French city drenched in Roman history!"
