"According to the three-way reviews and a previous visit about two years ago when I had enjoyed a cusine that reminded me of the family kitchen of my childhood (farm chicken, pie house), I expected much better! it is true that we came Thursday evening and unfortunately there is only the choice of the plate to 14,90 € whose announcement was quite so appealing but not the content: 1 slice of ham of country and 3 slices of sausage much too fine for one to appreciate the taste, two pieces of probably local cheeses then a bit of cucumber and quinoa with olives, a few leaves of salad and very few specialties of the region and local products. To make the famous terrine pass, I took on dessert a "glazed ****" that I thought was an ice: unfortunately, it was a traditional shotamisu that had been passed to the freezer and whose only centre was a little frozen! To crown the whole, an error in the addition (the desserts had been forgotten) that we had the honesty to point out what would have earned."

What a pleasant surprise. We drove into Arnay le Duc on a Sunday and had a lovely vegetarian lunch. Our young waitress was very accommodating with my attempts at French.

Hello,Petit restaurant that does not pay mine from outside reception and service is good. The setting and the décor is rustic and in its style. The dishes offered are correct and good. The products are fresh I have no doubt about the fact that the preparations are made home and the products are cooked. Originality of the dishes offered. I recommend for business meals or family.

"Côte d'Orien, amateurs of gourmet restaurant, we made a stop on Saturday 15 October with a couple of friends and their 14-year-old daughter, happy to re-discover this high place of the Côte d'Orienne gastronomy that I had known at the time of Mr. Poinsot, happy to discover the cuisine of the new boss and her eggs in meurette since she champions the world of speciality. At the time of booking, the person kept telling us that this specialty was only served on Thursday..dommage, we could have come on a Thursday.... This evening was filled with surprises ... good and less good... Let's take the point: 1 : the general reception was good, pleasant and courteous with a young plutot team, see very young and very nice. 9/10 2: In terms of menu, we have long hesitated between that at 38 euros and menu tasting at 58 or 80 euros. The waiter offered us a bite to the special queen in the menu at 38 euros, we left on the one with entry, dish and dessert. Nothing to say... very good and very copyy. The greed I am couldn't even take cheese. Only small flat... the kitchen is a little salty.. 8.5/10 3 : In terms of service quality, it went well even if we were forgotten twice for the water carafe... once it passes, but twice (on two requests), it makes a little mess 7/10 4: we took a coffee to close the meal after a wait a little long (15 minutes) and we were served coffee maker.. a little warmed with paper-dose sugar (such as the local bistro) put in a cup (less than the local bistro). La, we realized we had to leave. Normal we were the last 1/10 5: At the end of the meal, the boss came to be photographed in the middle of the dining room 3 meters from us.. Not a word, not a smile, not a glance, but a half military round regulation direction the kitchens after the photo. It's a sense of reception a little special. -5/10. In summary, if you go to taste, choose your day well, but you should be satisfied. If you go a little like us to spend a good night together. It is necessary to reflect where maybe not to do like me, head of company in ties all week, I put a cool Jean basketball and doudoune outfit in sleeve. Yet the habit does not make the monk, but I believe a little.... damage! Will I ever return to question I? I don't know... By the way, I didn't talk about it, but with the wines and champagne, we paid a little over 700 euros."

"We took a chance, didn't book ahead and liked the look of this lovely old village and found this place had a room to sleep all four of us, with a little private bathroom for good linen and towels, terrible road noise. We ate...dinner there, and opted for the menu of the evening. The flavours were good, terrine tasty, fish in a lovely sauce, my sons chicken flavourful, and the chef catered for our newly vegetarian year old. Great cheese selection for the cheese course, and I loved the chocolate mousse, and my husband's dessert was also fresh and delicious. The best part was the probably long suffering waitress, we loved her. She had her patience tested with the arrival of the husband and wife owners to noisily drink copious amounts of wine and argue politics in French with a friend. They followed this session with their dinner, ordered ages after the kitchen had closed. She seemed to like us so we got the pick of any cheese we would like form a fabulous cheese board, and she opened another local lovely smelly one for us to try as well (I think the cheese we ate alone was worth the cost of the dinner in Australian terms). We gave her a little tip and as we were going upstairs she practically hugged us, shaking our hands. Later on that night the owners had a fairly loud domestic including shoving and yelling in French. Maybe they need to look at their business model, a shame to waste such good and expensive renovations in a quaint and picturesque medieval town"
