Cafe Hula - Speisekarte

The service was friendly, and the burger was decent. The coffee was alright, but the decor seemed outdated and the upholstery on the window seats was dirty and stained. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant appeared lacking.

Although we were late for our booking, got lost in Glasgow traffic, we were welcomed and shown to our seat, given menus and water on arrival. The place was really busy but the staff were great and the food was absolutely lovely, I wouldn’t hesitate to go again

The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming. The hamburger was tasty, although it was cooked a bit too much. The tuna sandwich in the soup and sandwich combo was large and delicious. However, the soup was bland and only improved after adding a generous amount of salt.

We ate here as a family of 3 on a Saturday lunchtime in April. The cafe was lovely. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The Merguez sausages to start with were excellent! The patatas bravas were very good too. Nice burger and Spanish omelette for others at the table. Definitely worth a visit!

Came here for breakfast/lunch at around 10.30am with my boyfriend on his birthday. Atmosphere was great and a very cosy/homey vibe. I had a bacon sandwich which was great and my boyfriend had French toast with bacon and syrup, he also said it was amazing! Would highly recommend this place, staff are lovely and very welcoming! Would definitely visit again!

The older man with glasses was unbelievably rude to myself and my colleagues, turning away half way through our orders, dismissing us at every turn and grunting half acknowledgements when we tried to order something. Unbelievable that he still has a job, I can only think he owns the place, in which case what a terrible example to everyone who works there. Absolutely shocking service, won't be back. Fire that man.

I have been here a few times, and yet almost every visit the main chap who works here (older gentleman with spectacles), seems unbelievably angry for no discernable reason. I literally approach the counter, smile, and he darts his eyes towards me and says 'what!? ', as if I 've bothered him. I 'm not sure if this fella has some form of social impairment which I 'm mocking, but from a customers perspective he is extremely rude and it 's made me not want to return.

Killed an hour in here before going to an event. Fantastic ambience and friendly people. Had a couple of coffees which were very good and also a breakfast scrambled eggs were absolutely perfect; soft and velvety; toast tasted like proper bread from a bakery and the black pudding was excellent. If I lived in Glasgow, I'd use this place regularly very very good (can't give 5 stars to a café with limited menu etc). By the way, the WiFi was also fast. Don't just pop in for a coffee at breakfast, grab some real local healthy food also.

Went in with 2 friends today and ordered drinks and desserts. An elderly chap with glasses served us and genuinely looked like he wanted to start a fight, walk away while while we were still trying to speak to him, looked absolutely disgusted anytime we tried to speak and couldn’t have been more dismissive. I’ll never be back in because of this, I would have said something when we left but he looked like he finished his shift. An absolute farce, people are entitled to have a bad day, but he was a bad person. Avoid.....avoid.....avoid.
