Cafe La Forge - Speisekarte

Had a quick visit for a quick lunch and cup of coffee. My onion soup was good and the menu was in English.

This place is quite simple, and straight forward, and it has Flammkuchen ; which is sort of an Alsacien pizza. I would eat here again

Very friendly location with the boss and servers very attentive to our needs. We were there for an evening between colleagues, we ate pretty quickly. There were people. Very nice and reactive staff. I had a good time.

Found this small café restaurant whilst walking near my hotel in Paris. One of the best Entrecote steaks ever! Super friendly service and warm welcome. Very traditional setting but would happily recommend and visit again

We were suprised by the waitress service, she was so helpful and attentive despite the fact that she barely spoke english. And about the food, we ordered one medium cooked burger and dish of the day (fish . They were really amazing! All in all, nice place to eat and we also got great discount! :

We were a couple looking for simple evening meal in regular place that wouldn't require to wear a suit and we found it. Place itself is very simple, but the food was no less than excellent. We had gambas tartar, french onion soup and pair of steaks. We were satisfied with every piece of our meal and price seemed fair as well.

This was the worst. Very inattentive waitress she could have carried less about our food or experience. Terrible food, not brought to the table in any order. My main meal never showed up so we asked for our check, she then ran back and brought it to the table. My wife's onion soup was cold and my ham shank was all fat. Don't eat here. Have a pizza next door. Oh, by the way the smoke wafting in from the front was atrocious.

We were friendly welcomed and quickly seated with our friends. Decor is sort of Alsatian, but maybe a bit tired. The lunch menu is quite reasonable. We had flammekeuche with salad and a glass of beer great value and a hearty portion. Kind of like a very, very thin pizza crust (more like a cracker) with toppings including roquette and pesto. Mine had nice thick sliced ham, tomatoes and parmeson. Also included in the menu were frites or salad, and a glass of beer, wine, or soft drink. Our friends had pork ribs with belly meat and a pork knuckle both looked good and were good way too much meat for us. We passed on desert, but did have coffee surprisingly, these days you don't get a small cookie...

We visited here on Friday 3rd August 2018, on arrival we found the menu to be in English as well as French (bonus, as we only speak a minimal amount of high school french at best! , we were greeted in English by a young lady, she offered us both French and English menu’s and we asked for the English, sadly we didn’t get the lady’s name but she was so friendly and helpful and despite our efforts with terrible French she spoke to us in English, i actually tried to review this restaurant whilst we were sat there however, the review didn’t upload. The food was beautiful, and i have no idea what beer we were drinking but it was so good we had several and then went back the next day after sightsee...
