"Haven’t been here for 12 months but always had a good experience so we was looking forward to tonight and while the food was still at a very high standard, we had the lamb and the beef, the service was absolutely terrible. The young man that found our reservation looked like he was either stoned or in another time zone and the young girl that served us was pleasant enough but very inexperienced. We had to ask for cutlery when our mains arrived (after seeing my lamb being escorted around the restaurant) and had to ask to ask again to get our wine when the mains were already on the table. Everyone has to learn but would suggest that more focus is put on the customers rather then your friends and that the service is an area of improvement. 130€ for two is not cheap for the area so if you want to maintain those prices, you will need to significantly improve the customer service. Great food and lovely place but service way below minimum standards."

"The castle is in perfect condition of conservation. It remains perfectly from the time with a touch of modernity in the decoration. The room was well heated and comfortable. The bedding was very comfortable. The restaurant offers well executed seasonal products. All that is proposed to breakfast is homemade, a delight! We also made a walk in the adjoining forest, it has as much charm as it is surrounded by a stone wall of time. It is also ideal for walking or footballing. I strongly recommend the place to be discovered. Finally, there are relatively close tourist places (growing area, vaon la roman, lace of Montmirail, Orange, etc.)."

"during our previous holidays we were, each time, very satisfied. experience renewed last week. The balance sheet is mixed. the hotel is quiet, clean, but old. The bedding is comfortable, quite what it takes to rest well. breakfast is moderately correct. On the restaurant side, we were disappointed by the dishes offered, but very nicely served by a young waitress very dynamic, smiling and attentive."

"Evening meal the day before the ascent of Ventoux. There’s lots of eateries in Malaucène but we plumped for a simple pizza. This was no. 2 restaurant in Malaucène probably based on people just wanting a basic feed. This is exactly what it was but at a very basic price. Three courses including a Leffe (for 2)was €29. Unbeatable for value I think. Starter was tomato and mozzarella, delicious pizza for main and ice cream for dessert. The main business looks like a very busy takeaway with the restaurant bolted on the front. It ticked a box for what we required and at under €30 for two including drinks! Service wasn’t speedy but we weren’t in a major rush so wasn’t an issue."
