We stayed here at dinner, we ordered pizzas that were really good!! Great one with porcini mushrooms!! Bravo!

It's not the first time I eat at the Trappeto. I found myself great because the food is excellent, the beautiful location, an ancient oil mill converted into local, and the staff extremely attentive to the needs of the customer. Speisekarte ansehen

It's an osteria hidden in the maze of little roads, not easy to find but worth the effort. Specialties of Gargano are served by fast and professional staff under the supervision of the host. We enjoyed good food and wine at a reasonable price (79 euro).

Siamo stati stupendamente bene. La paposcia assolutamente superlativa in tutte le sue varianti. Altrettanto notevole il caciocavallo al forno. Il locale poi..... trasuda una storia millenaria. Un dieci e lode per la cortesia dei ragazzi addetti al servizio. Torneremo presto.

Accoglienza calorosa del proprietario di questo ristorante molto suggestivo e particolare essendo una grotta. Cibo ottimo servito da personale educato gentile e disponibile. Antipasti sfiziosi e caserecci pasta fatta in casa buonissima e la paposcia è la loro specialità . Vini ottimi . Prezzi abbordabili a tutti. Da ritornarci sicuramente. Speisekarte ansehen

This place was so great we dined there two nights in a row...the first night pesce and the second night carne. Eduardo the host was wonderfully friendly and helpful. He showed us photos of the 1000 year old olive oil cave before he converted it to a restaurant in 2003. The food was exceptional ...recommend the calamari and the fava bean primis. Has a great wine menu as well. Would definitely recommend.

Non abbiamo capito bene quale sia l 'esatta denominazione del locale dove abbiamo pranzato. Cercavamo il ristorante 'L 'orto del Conte ', siamo entrati in un locale con l 'insegna 'Il Trappeto ' e abbiamo avuto la ricevuta fiscale del 'Bar pizzeria braceria Lorandre Srls '. A parte questo dettaglio, siamo stati molto soddisfatti della nostra scelta. Ambiente molto caratteristico in quanto ci troviamo all 'interno di un antico molino reale; titolari molto gentili; menù interessante e pietanze squisite. Prezzi nella media. Se ripassiamo per Vico del Gargano non ci sono dubbi sulla scelta del ristorante. Consigliatissimo.

Il Trappeto is divided in two areas; the outside terrace, garland lit with tables built around beautiful olive trees, and the underground cantina, carved right in the fresh stone. We chose to dine in the latter, wanting just a quick pizza that night. Despite the great and generous cocktails, the food was somewhat sad and the service very slow and messy. When in Italy, and in Puglia no less, you expect to eat a pizza better tasting than the ones made in your home country. It was not the case at Il Trappeto. One particular pizza, the one offering shrimp and asparagus was appallingly poor industrial frozen shrimp (for a location so close to the sea ?! and the asparagus also traded for paper thi...
