Carluccio's - Speisekarte

This restaurant just opened last week and they are still working out some kinks. However, the food is decent and the drinks are average.

Great food, diverse menu, outstanding attentive service, and entertainment as well. It was a wonderful way to cap off a lovely afternoon.

amazing staff! has taken my neff to lunch and he didn't like to eat so that the staff changed his meal free! this particular employee always checked on him and made sure he was in order and took care of us all really well! typed him at the end of our meal and could not have thought about a better way to have spent my afternoon and money!

Fantastic service! I took my nephew out for lunch, and when he didn’t enjoy his meal, the staff replaced it at no extra cost! One staff member in particular consistently checked in on him, making sure he was comfortable and taking great care of all of us. We left a tip at the end because we appreciated the wonderful service. I can't think of a better way to have spent my afternoon and money!

Decided to visit Carluccio 's on our annual two night break in York, as it was a new addition to the city. I ordered the roasted butternut squash with roasted vegetables, my husband had the vegetarian pizza. Although both enjoyable, they weren 't anything special considering this restaurant is owned by a very high profile Italian chef,so was expecting to be "wowed "but wasn 't. The wine was however brought to the table just at the correct temperature, which is always a plus. Service was prompt and efficient, no problem there. Went to Carluccio's today for a coffee and light snack with a friend. We were made to feel like 2nd class citizens because we weren't ordering a meal. After sitting and waiting for over 10minutes with NO service I went up to counter where person apologized that he couldn't take our order but would send someone over straight away,,another 5 minutes waiter comes, takes our order, comes back with our food in a couple of minutes BUT another 10-15 minutes before our coffees arrived.. Having had Carluccio's recommended to me I can definitely say I won't be hurrying back. Service and attitude of staff was atrocious..

The welcome we received as soon as we stepped into the restaurant was wonderful, especially after our disappointing experience at the café next door. With two very hungry children in tow, we were treated with attentiveness and exceptional hospitality by the two young waitresses. The food was delightful—royally baked and full of hazelnut flavor. We loved every bite. On top of that, we received a 20% discount on our deli purchases and a voucher for a free bottle of wine on our next evening visit. Every cloud has a silver lining! Thank you for this amazing experience. If it weren't for the letdown at the other café, we might never have discovered this little gem.

The warm welcome we received as soon as we entered was absolutely delightful, especially after our not-so-great experience at the other café. It truly made our morning! Our two hungry children were spoiled with attention and exceptional hospitality from the two young waitresses. The food was fantastic, with dishes like eggs royale, pastries, and hazelnut toast that we all enjoyed. As a bonus, we received a 20% discount on our purchases from the deli and a voucher for a free bottle of wine if we returned in the evening. So, it turns out that every cloud has a silver lining.
