"A long time ago I wanted to spend a good time in this restaurant and enjoy their very famous French brasserie cuisine. What a good time, what a pleasant evening in a little corner hidden behind the bar. Ideal to be a little away. An initial reception very brewery, then, a small personal touch and as the evening goes on, little attentions that are very appreciated, until the start with a friendly, reminiscent Mr.Jean, do not take cold outside, the winter points its nose! The menu offers a wide range of dishes including some essentials of French cuisine, a wide choice of meat and fish as well as a beautiful range of desserts. The wine list is fantastic with in addition some very interesting wines in half bottles. The vintages are a little young and the price rises quickly. The table is well erect, tablecloth and cloth towel. Gien's faience plates, a Parisian theme, perfect this pretty layout. We love it! Little pot of rillette in amuses mouths, it starts well! The croutons are not, it's a bit dry wand but this rillette doesn't let itself be prayed, we taste it very willingly. On the table of the baguette, quality 7 10 but a fantastic semi-sel butter! Be careful not to do like us. Succomber to all this, because after that, the dishes are generous! In the entrances, oil mackerels, at will, beautiful and excellent! Eggs meurettes, must-have, the sauce could have been warmer but everything is really good, the soup with hearty mushrooms, warm and really tasty although not very aesthetic. The dishes, as classics, the Saint-Jacques with exceptional quality and very rich sauce. The veal-headed casserole gribiche sauce, just amazing, a half-piece (circle, tongue, cheek), really excellent and finally the cassolette of kidneys in the old madère, this sauce is exceptional once the fat in the past surface, the kidneys of great quality, we would have wanted a little bit more and small roasted cranberry potatoes in the juice. In short three dishes that are not accessible to everyone but for amateurs, impossible to be dissatisfied! Now we're gonna have to find a little place for a little dessert. The only problem being that desserts are excellent and huge... nevertheless no need to force themselves, they are beautiful, the dessert of the day, the cream spilled, just as good as the huge. The baba and its bitter rum at will is very good, we just regret that the baba has taken a little the smells of the frigidaire because otherwise it is really good and well wet. The cream that accompanies it is wonderful, incredible texture, small vanilla grains and very slightly sweet, just perfect. On the price side, we leave at 80€ per person with entrance, dish, dessert, mineral water, coffee and a very good wine. Not given but just balanced as we think about table dressing, the quality of the dishes and the quantities more than generous. Small eaters do not venture into a three-course meal!!! So thank you to the whole team for this beautiful evening spent in your establishment. We are complicated and greedy and yet, very frankly, we had nothing to say. It's okay, on the contrary, we'll have a thousand other opportunities to catch up in other restaurants..."
