Chez Marcel - Speisekarte

Had a beautiful lunch here. A perfectly cooked steak (I ordered blue) and the best glass of wine I have had in a long time (Chateau Lastour, Gaillac, 2012.

Nice lunch spot in the Center of Toulouse! Affordable and good food! Even though my pasta was overcooked we enjoyed our lunch in cozy atmosphere and with good service!

My sister took me here as my first meal in Toulouse. So glad she did. I ordered the risotto with cashews. It was delicious. The rice was perfect texture and the sauce was so flavorful. Speisekarte ansehen

The restaurant is very Well located with an elegant touch. The menu has not many options but the choices are delicious. I had as entrée an Eclair with Foie gras that was suculent, afterwards the porc filet with mushroom And soya sauce... Delicious. Try the lunch menus!

We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. Brilliant from start to finish. The service was excellent. The food choice too. I had a well priced menu with a fabulous salad and gorgeous dessert (enough to share!) and my partner had a great fish dish. The ambiance is amazing. Just off the main square: not to be missed!

Nicely presented food and tasteful decor but flavourful?......no! Very bland. We had lunch....tomatoes in oil for hubby, which was too cold so had no flavour and salmon paste in a kilner jar for me which didn't taste of anything. Seafood risotto for main sounded hopeful, but again, no flavour which was a pity as the ingredients were all there in decent quantities. Don't bother. Speisekarte ansehen

Stumbled across Chez Marcel when walking from the train station into the city centre. It looked lovely and was busy (which is always a good sign!) so we gave it a go. Such a great decision! Delicious food - we chose the formule (entrée plat dessert) for lunch and the food was amazing! I have been telling everyone about it since! Only (slight) complaint is that is was very busy and the tables are quite close together so it was a rather noisy atmosphere. I will definitely go back again next time I'm in Toulouse.

Happened on the place looking for a simple decent lunch. Service good, comfortable ambiance and lots of choice of plats and menus. Sadly the lasagne on the 2 course menu might have been good when first cooked, but my portion had been reheated several times (dry and crisp around the edges) and wasn't even hot. The salad with it was dry (no dressing) and tasteless. My husband's chicken fillet with chips and salad was ok but no better than that. Desserts good, Choice of wines by the glass ok. I wouldn't try to find the place again.

Nice and quick lunch in this typical but very modern French restaurant. My girlfriend ordered an entrecôte which was ok and I had moules mariniere.... probably because I always take them, I was expecting something very good but obviously not the best decision this time. There was not much sauce which you expect with this dish and not much flavour too, therefore I have eaten much better.However there was quite a few desserts on display which looked all good and we ordered a couple of them to share. They were both amazing and I have to say that they made our day!The service was good too, quick and efficient! Overall a nice day but the food to be revisited... Speisekarte ansehen
