"After not visiting Chez Mumtaj for a couple of years, we were pleased to see that the food quality has remained consistent. My wife enjoyed a delicious duck dish and my lamb shank was excellent. However, I have deducted a few stars due to the slightly disorganized service. We were seated at the wrong table initially and had to switch, and we had to request fresh table water multiple times. Despite this, the service was polite overall."

The food was good, but nothing special. Good Indian food. The only thing which was different for me was the desert of pear stuffed in zaffron.

This was our 3rd visit and we were not disappointed. It was a special meal to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. The service is impeccable as is the food. We will return.

It's great to see Chez Mumtaj back open and following strict safety protocols. While the fusion menu isn't available yet due to limited seating, the Indian dishes on offer were fantastic and up to their usual high standard. Highly recommend checking it out.
