"I typically do not like to review restaurants, as I believe experiences can be subjective, but I recently visited Chikayan in Bushey on the night of October 15th. I have to say, it was the worst dining experience I have had in years. We paid £29 and were informed that any uneaten dishes would be charged as extras. While this may be fair for excessive ordering, most of the food was tasteless, lukewarm, and poorly presented, so we would have returned it regardless. The salt and pepper ribs were extremely salty and covered in a green chili sauce that overpowered the dish. The spring rolls were small and flavorless, seeming like they were purchased from a cheap wholesale supplier. The sweet and sour chicken tasted more like gum covered in tomato ketchup. The staff did not engage with us beyond dumping the food on our table, and when we asked for a dessert menu, the options were limited to tinted lychees, ice cream, or strawberry jelly. Overall, I would not recommend wasting your time or money at this establishment."

we love this place. all they can eat for £20 concept is very beautiful. we love everything we tried on the menu. my favorites are crispy asparagus, roasted noodles and the sweet corn voucher.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. Our food was delivered to the wrong table, and we had to wait a long time for it to be brought to us. We had to keep reminding the staff about our order, and it took them 20 minutes to sort it out. The starters were bland and lacked seasoning. There was no cinnamon in sight.

a favorite forever. much more delicious authentic than most places close and fabulous tasty selection. I love the Cantonese crispy nude and bananenfritter. (daughter tasty bites) I have immersed myself to get the 10% collection discount, 25.% when they go over £20 and order a bubbled one. the menu I couldn't find online, so here it is. only high-quality Chinese.

This is the first time I have had a take-away here and the food was exceptional. I really like the Chow Mein with the bean sprouts as this was thinner noodles and soft beans sprouts so I was pleasantly surprised. I had the vegetarian crispy duck pancakes and the Chilli Asparagus (apattizer). All very tasty and I will certainly be ordering or eating in from here again.

We have been frequent guests at this restaurant and have always enjoyed it in the past. However, recently the quality of the food has declined significantly and the service has as well. We ordered our usual dishes, but the seaweed was overly sweet and the green beans tasted burnt. When we raised our concerns with the waitress (something we have successfully done in the past), she seemed indifferent and denied that there was any issue. We are unsure if we will return to this restaurant, which is a disappointment as it used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant.
