"I walked in just after they had opened. There was a girl in the counter, who gave a glance but didn’t give two hoots I was there. And then an older lady came and with similar indifference went inside. It was just amazing so I said in a raised voice; “is there anybody here to greet me with smile make me welcome”! Then the older lady came despite what I had said, obviously didn’t get I was saying tersely asked me, “what you want!?” I asked for “fresh jelebi”; she said, she will “microwave”! I got it that they don’t have “freshly made”. As I was hungry, I said OK. But it was stale smelly. Then I asked the same older lady, if she could boil for me few fenugreek seeds I was carrying (as home remedy for my high blood pressure); she tersely said, we don’t do such things! Whereas every other Indian place I have been they have quickly accommodated me. Then I asked for “masala tea” which took like 15 minutes to arrive just before I was leaving. And then I started to write this review and asked them, how would they like me to write it!? The young lady made her face and turned to show me her back, while the older lady mumbled like “no problem”. This is not how a customer is treated in any restaurant, no matter what! Finally “masala tea” came; that was nothing “masala” about it. This kind of place should not just exist."

I ordered a chilli paneer and paneer sizzle, and to be honest, they were nothing special. They were just okay, but lacked flavor. The portion sizes were good though.

Went there for a breakfast today. We ordered tandoori kulchas. They were definitely not tandoor cooked. The environment of this restaurant is not at all good. The table was dirty and sticky and even the cutlery they use was not looking clean enough. Ordered a tea and it was served in a very old and rusted cups. Won’t be able to come again.

Visited this place for lunch after such a long time. Different staff but excellent, delicious, hot, spicy food. Service quick and polite. Food is freshly cooked. We had a starter between us 2 large mixed lunches, cup of tea, falooda and paratha for £23.00. Will visit again when we have a chance. Restaurant is also clean and sells lots of Indian sweets too.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and have been consistently impressed. On my first visit, I was hesitant to order Punjabi paranthas from a staff of Goans, but they truly surpassed my expectations. The staff is polite, although not overly friendly, and the service is quick. Their sweets are always fresh, and sometimes I visit just to get mithai. I have brought my own hot case to have the paranthas packed, and they are always accommodating. While I am not a fan of their chai and find their chaat to be just okay, you can never go wrong with their paranthas.

Indian street food was disappointing mediocre at best flavour just wasn't there and excessively oily. Items such as samosas and kachoris were dripping in oil it went through two paper bags and covered the surfaces of the plastic bag. Chutney was the consistency of water which is not how it should be. I've been here twice just to give it the benefit of the doubt but it seems the passion to to provide good food just isn't there. Staff are friendly and the price point is reasonable but if you want authentic good quality food I would head to one of the restaurants on The Broadway.

Would give 0 if I had the chance. Care more about making money than customer service. First question I asked when I went in was 'do you do decaf tea? ' the lady answered yes. We said decaf a good 3/4 times to which she replied yes. Sat down and ordered. Masala tea came for me to which I said no I said decaf. My aunty got a plain tea when she ordered something else. So we carried on eating and I went to buy tea bags from a shop. Asked for milk and the man bright a whole cup then charged me for it. They also had two teas on the bill. Simple maths and understanding English is not really mastered at this place. They stood their arguing over the milk. Lost 4 customers. Ridiculous and not educated...

I have visited the Hounslow branch many times, as I have been in the area frequently for work during the pandemic. I often stopped by to pick up a takeout or a chai. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming. While in Southall, I noticed a cafe and decided to stop by for a sweet and a chai while waiting for the bus. Upon entering, there were a few customers in the store and three ladies behind the counter. I asked one of the ladies for a certain sweet, but I struggled to pronounce it correctly. She repeatedly asked me to say it in English, then rolled her eyes and started speaking in another language and laughing with the customer next to me. This experience left me feeling unwelcome...
