Coast - Speisekarte

Been traveling around Scotland for two weeksbest chips so far! The carrot coriander soup was delicious.

Absolutely beautiful meal. The light bite menu was excellent value too. Very friendly, efficient service. Booking highly recommended.

We went for the light bites' menu. It was filling enough that we only needed starter and main. Very reasonably priced and great service. The food was delicious and they had a fine selection of Whisky.

Service was excellent. Featured venison dish was over priced and under delivered. My serving was ordered as recommended medium-rare. It arrived small and medium well done. Appetizers and desert were delicious

A Fantastic restaurant in Oban. Staff were great, ambiance was fantastic and food perfect. If you're stopping in Oban and you like fine dining this is a must. Unfortunately we only discovered this place on our night... we would easily have gone here for the eves in a row. Speisekarte ansehen

Excellent meal overall. The Lite Bite is a great deal and was plenty of food. I got the butternut risotto, salmon main, and the dessert of the day (chocolate walnut cheesecake). The risotto was creamy and delicious, the salmon was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Very impressed with the COVID measures that were taken. Would recommend booking, as this seemed to be a very popular place.

Staff were attentive and the food was excellent. I had scallops for my starter. They were seared perfectly and so sweet. For the main I had the halibut and risotto, also perfectly cooked. The one thing that was out of place was the bread basket. There were two pieces of bread: one white and one brown, but they felt like they could have come from a low quality supermarket loaf. I was expecting something more artisanal, like sourdough or baguette.

First time here at Coast and we weren't disappointed. The place was packed to the rafters and the earlier reviews tell you it's a local favourite. We had mains dessert and a few glasses of wine and the bill was £90. My fillet steak was wonderful and my friends haunch of venison was equally delicious. Desserts were ok too...nothing amazing but sweet and sticky (what's not to love). Service was attentive but relaxed. My only thought on what could be better would be the interior design. It's fine...but if you ask yourself what a restaurant called Coast would look like before you visited....it wouldn't be brown green walls, wooden slats and a couple of average art pieces.
