"What can I say I have known chef Sean Jeffers since he was 16 washing up in our yacht club kitchen, he has gone leaps and ,bounds and beyond ,he and his team smashed it out the park tonight absolutely delicious food and great service .started with some snacks some beautiful parmesan, truffle ,onion jam doughnuts WOW,fresh crisp ,soft focaccia. Then came the starter slow cooked IOW beef crumpet ,onion jam horseradish parsley emulsion, stunning, for main I had the baked cod ,fish mouse tortellini, keta, leek jus , smoked bacon and for me the showstopper pickled mussels BEAUTIFUL...... The place to be ,the place to go the unforgettable Red lion of Freshwater 5 stars"

"I had a delightful lunch at The Horse and Groom today. This spacious pub offers plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, with excellent access throughout. The facilities for children are fantastic, including a large outdoor playground with a climbing frame and crazy golf. There’s a good variety of meals to choose from, but do keep in mind that the outdoor menu is limited and some COVID restrictions are still in effect. Overall, the food is well presented, and both the children's area and the leisure spaces are well maintained."

"We went to On The Rocks last night. It was great atmosphere and the staff were absolutely fantastic. They made us feel so welcomed. They looked after is really well. Ok now the food: the steak was fabulous. The quality of the meat and fish and prawns was top notch. The salad was really good and the fries seemed to be were of unlimited supply. Which made us all very happy. I really enjoy cooking my own steak on the rock. The manager explained everything to us clearly and gave us free shots after the meal. It was going down as one of the best nights in Yarmouth."

"We booked two tables online and asked for them to be together as we were celebrating a birthday. They did this for us and were very welcoming and accommodating. Excellent table service with friendly staff. The food was incredible, the best beef burger I’ve ever had! Not long to wait either considering how busy they were. We can’t wait to come back and try more"

"Called in while on a short break on the Island, had to wait roughly 10 mins for a medium Fish and Chips, was well worth it as it was freshly cooked, the chips were a lovely colour, not pale like a lot of Chip shops and the Fish was a deep golden colour and the batter was beautiful and crisp, cooked to perfection, one of the nicest pieces of fish I’ve had in a long time. Friendly service too, would recommend to everyone, can’t upload a picture though as i didn’t have time to take one as it was roo delicious to stop eating.
