"It is not the first review, but we have had lunch so well to confirm our choice. the place is always very nice cozy, I appreciate all the details, the view of the lake is lovely. very helpful staff and I love the owner's passion in explaining his dishes and raw materials carefully chosen. prices absolutely in line with the quality of food and service. I had a particular desire to asparagus and the owner fulfilled my desire preparing a great risotto in the form of Parmesan! Bello l'ambiente, gradevole la musica di sottofondo, impeccabile il servizio, con nota di merito per aver suggerito una scelta differente da quella fatta leggendo il men, perch un ingrediente, arrivato il mattino stesso, non era ancora sufficientemente marinato rischiando di tradire qualche attesa del palato esigente. Beh, si capisce che ci tengono: infatti quello che arrivato in tavola merita pi di un complimento. Prezzo adeguato alla qualit, che giusto riconoscere."

"Un giorno il mio compagno mi disse: ti porto a mangiare la pasta all'arrabbiata dove andavo da piccolo... E da quel giorno, ci veniamo almeno una volta a settimana!! Un posto dallo stile retrò, poco pretenzioso e dove ancora ti portano una posata mancante su piattino e tovagliolo. Guardandosi in giro sembra davvero che il ristorante si sia fermato nel tempo... La gestione è familiare ed é sempre la stessa da tanti anni e il servizio è allo stesso tempo cordiale e professionale. La cucina, casalinga, è ottima, e i piatti vengono preparati al momento sempre con la stessa cura. Io personalmente sono una grandissima fan della loro pasta all'arrabbiata, ma anche la pasta alle vongole è davvero eccezionale. È molto conosciuto dai locali in quanto in settimana, sia a pranzo che a cena, offre la formula del menù a 10 euro, con il quale si possono mangiare sempre piatti gustosi, ma nel menù á la carte, disponibile dal venerdì sera (ma anche durante le sere della settimana, se uno lo richiede), ci sono tante altre bontà, a prezzi davvero ragionevoli, che meritano di essere assaggiate, come ad esempio la paella, accompagnata da sangria, gli altri piatti di pesce o di carne. Alla sera è possibile anche mangiare la pizza. Credo davvero che questo posto sia sottovalutato (almeno per quanto riguarda le uscite serali), ma in fondo in fondo mi piace andare lì il venerdì sera e stare in intimità con il mio compagno, senza troppo casino intorno, come può magari succedere negli altri ristoranti più turistici di Laveno ."

"the restaurant is located in a small village, on a hill overlooking a valley and with views of the hill and has a huge covered terrace. the reception was warm, the owner speaks fluent English and is extremely hospitable, and eating is fantastic. the wine list is full of interesting decisions. the tagliatelle were the best I ever had (pasta is made house), that was a list of seasonal white truffle dishes. the pheasant ragu was delicious, lavarello with butter and sage was perfect. for dessert we had caramelized fresh figs with ice ants contucci with vin santo. a wonderful meal. in the kitchen are the daughter and mother of the owner who came to say hello and check on our luck. a beautiful meal."
