Very nice. You get the choice to pick up the base you would like to begin with. Usually (yes my office is at the corner), I took quinoa base and then you choose what you want to build your salad! Bonus point: there’s a discount...with my company name Speisekarte ansehen

Right around the corner from the Musee d’Orsay, this little place had all that we needed — greens, veggies, healthy choices. The drinks were a bit expensive, but the food was worth the price. My one friend had the quiche and said it was great....I had the spinach salad base and chose some excellent toppings.

Fancying a change from the tourist traps offering low quality "traditional French food". We found this great pizza/deli place a minute or so as from Musee d'Orsay.It offers a wide selection of options where you can choose several toppings of fresh meats and vegetables to go on salads, pizzas, sandwiches or pasta. Portions are big making it value for money too. Great for both vegetarians and meat lovers!

It's not much to look at and is actually a little awkwardly quiet but the food is incredibly fresh, the staff we're really friendly and the pasta I had was out of this world. I guess the best way to describe it in basic terms would be a very upscale subway where you get to ask for ingredients on your pasta, pizza or sandwich that you pick from behind a bar. This little restaurant is a breath of fresh air. It might be near a major tourist attraction, but its clean-feeling food and nice, quiet ambiance are just what you need to fuel you up before or after you head in to the museum. We got a tuna wrap, which was simple but very satisfying, and there are so many other good options that we had quite a difficult time choosing. If you want to make a salad you can pick a base (such as lettuce, pasta, tabbouleh, etc) and then choose the other ingredients to add (hence the name "compose", I assume) and they all looked amazing. I would definitely go back.

As we were walking to the Musee d'Orsay, we passed what seemed to be a healthy take-out restaurant and then realized it was just what we needed before spending a few hours in the museum. It reminded us of salad take-out restaurants at home (Sweet...Greens). At Compose, you get to select your salad base and then add your toppings. Everyone at Compose was patient despite our French, and the salads were delicious. Plus, we ate them with a view of the Seine which is close by. To this day, we still talk about Compose and wish they would open some in the U.S. We just don't have enough great salad take-out restaurants in the States.
