Shane and Amanda greeted me warmly and provided a very relaxing atmosphere, making it a great way to end the day. I would definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Rocked up late just after the kitchen closed and the lovely bar man Batman talked the chef into letting us have fish and chips. Not 10 mins later a MASSIVE plate of half a battered whale, amazing hand-cut chips and home made mushy peas...appeared. Amazing food and outstanding service from all the staff. Phoned to ask about a table offered one 30 mins later. When we arrived greated by a very friendly waitress who showed us to the table and took our drink order. Brought the drinks and took the food orders. The food arrived very quickly and...was hot and well cooked with generous portions, we were offered desserts and can thoroughly recommend the Junkyard Sundae. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We will definitely visit again during our stay.

After noticing this restaurant several times, we finally decided to give it a try. We ordered three meals, but only received two at first and had to wait for the third one. When it finally arrived, the fish was overcooked and unappetizing. Desserts were offered to us for free, but we declined. My carbonara dish also left much to be desired as it became more watery. Overall, our experience was very disappointing and we would not consider returning. We believe that a discount should have been offered for the wait on the third meal and for the subpar quality of my dish.

Had lunch there as previously had had fab food. However had a mixed grill and the steak was so chewy it was inedible. Rest of it was nice, the Stilton sauce was delicious, the chips were fab and my husband’s halloumi chips was also...very nice his samphire was tender and tasty. The waiting staff we were lovely and very helpful when I commented on the steak she would feed back to the chef. However for approx £25 I felt no option other than to not leave a tip. I’m normally a ten percenter when I tip, but felt the meal did not justify the price tag, so sorry to the waiting staff, but you missed out this time. Speisekarte ansehen

The setting, both inside and outside, transports you to another place steeped in tradition, yet at the same time offering world-class dining at the Skala Super Gastro Pub. The customer service is exceptional, as the staff go above and beyond to fulfill every desire. The highlight, however, is the food. Each dish is exquisite and prepared by a retired marine official with no gimmicks, just pure culinary delight. This is a place that should be visited time and time again. In my 27 years of serving in the senior service of Her Majesty, I have never come across a place quite like this. We’re staying at Looe Holiday Park and this came up as a 7 minute drive from the resort. Me and my two girls came out here for Sunday Dinner and was not disappointed. At 36 I can say this is the best meal I have...ever had. We had mussels to start, followed by the Sunday Lunch. Lamb for me and my eldest and turkey for the little one. Everything was amazing from the service to the food. Prices were fabulous too, couple of pints, soft drinks, starter and the mains, less than £60. I wouldn’t have actually cared what the bill was the food was incredible. I wish we wasn’t going home tomorrow because I’d be back every night of the week. telephoned to book the evening before without problems. we arrived and were greeted by beautiful employees who showed us on our table and explained the specials during taking the beverage order before they were ordering food when supplying the drinks. Eat came fast and became. very well presented I had the Moroccan lamb shaft speciality, which was delicious and my partner of the truthahn and hamcake of the day, which was also beautiful! no interruptions from the staff during the meal, save a visit to check everything was in order. the deserts were excellent and can thoroughly recommend the vegan chocolate orange cake! all staff were super friendly and very helpful and the atmosphere in the p...
