I had the good fortune to sample the panettone pudding, which was simply divine. "Had a great meal at The Water Witch. They where great with last minute booking changes and pre orders with great wheel chair access. Food arrived within 4 minutes of being seated. I know it was a preorder but still, it was very well timed. The steak was exactly what I wanted, and the peppercorn source wasamazing. Cheesecake was biscoff with Wallis clotted cream icecream and a passion fruit mix sauce, the base was soft and the cheese melted in your mouth. On top of this customer service was perfect. Our server/waiter greated us when we arrived and showed us to our table. Overall 10/10 I had a great night and Will be returning for an afternoon cheese board."

"An oasis for a great range of well kept, properly pulled Cask ales. Service is timely and with a smile. Great choice of ales on tap. Food is always good quality, well prepared and presented. Great location next to the canal but handy for town. Spacious pub, with plenty of seating inside and out. Worthy winner of Camra awards and will no doubt feature in future polls. Highly recommended."

"I had two pints of Hawkshead bitter,a lovely pint. The atmosphere and ambience is excellent! A real comfortable English pub,one that I've drank in intermittently over the years! I used to live in Lancaster,but moved away years ago,only visit occasionally. The history behind the establishment is intriguing."
