"Visited this bar twice on Saturday, it has various beers on which, my friend likes. The bar was quite quiet which, we were pleased with. We managed to get served very quickly and get a seat in the window. Lancaster was busy as the sun was shining and it was a very hot day. The bar was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I really liked what they did with old beer cans. They’d actually put a small plant inside it which was really nice. The beet was nice and cold just what was needed."

"Confused from the start. We were told we had to prebook, when we got there this is for only groups of 10? We received our precooked food before we had ordered drinks. We were then pretty rushed through our meal, in and out in less than an hour. We feel we were treated as happy hour customers who unfortunately paid full price. Also one of our party couldn’t make it as was poorly. We were told as pre booked and pre cooked we had to pay for the meal, which we did and took away in a doggy bag. Finally came to pay the bill and was then told we would not be charged for the the meal for our friend. Dark room, average food."

"My husband and I have eaten at Buccelli's many times and so he decided there was no better place in Lancaster to hold a surprise 60th birthday celebration for me with family and my closest friends. I later found out that Bruno the owner, had been very accommodating in organising a menu with my husband, with a choice of great options, that were pre-ordered. The food, wine and service on the evening were fantastic and helped to create an atmosphere that reminded us of times we have spent in Rome, where a meal is an integral part of a celebration. I was delighted with my surprise celebration especially when I realised where I was going and our guests, several of whom had not visited Buccelli's before, were very impressed with the quality of the food and the range of specialist wines available. I want to say a very personal thank you to Bruno for all his help in the secret planning of the evening and to his amazing team of Ben, Bonnie, Jake and Theo for making it a night to remember! For all of you who have never been to Buccelli's, you don't know what you are missing. It's a little piece of Rome in the centre of Lancaster. Whether you go in for lunch, dinner or just a coffee and cannoli, you won't be disappointed!"

"Had a great meal at The Water Witch. They where great with last minute booking changes and pre orders with great wheel chair access. Food arrived within 4 minutes of being seated. I know it was a preorder but still, it was very well timed. The steak was exactly what I wanted, and the peppercorn source wasamazing. Cheesecake was biscoff with Wallis clotted cream icecream and a passion fruit mix sauce, the base was soft and the cheese melted in your mouth. On top of this customer service was perfect. Our server/waiter greated us when we arrived and showed us to our table. Overall 10/10 I had a great night and Will be returning for an afternoon cheese board."

"for the first time in approx. 15 years back to the white cross, only on the basis of the travel advisor great reviews. wow. it is a completely different experience. When we arrived, the bar staff got our drinks and asked if we were eating. then he told us that we feel comfortable and get ourselves when our table was ready. everyone was amazing. they were attentive, but not in our faces. eating, eating is perfection. I've never eaten better. everything we had was great. they will not regret their visit, I promise"
