Ad-hoc stop after busy day; friendly staff great atmosphere and surroundings. Chatted to bar-staff about cocktails we liked and he made one off the spot, could have stayed there all afternoon!

First and last visit here Had mixed grill , steak still had a pulse when served , black pudding raw . Only saving grace about the place was the friendly waiting on staff. Definitely one place to miss

Birthday occasion all previous experiences have been very poor so had low expectations. Waited an hour and 15minutes between courses. Left with empty drinks we had to notify staff on two occasions. Staff appeared to be more focused on socialising Speisekarte ansehen

I had a fantastic meal with my family at this restaurant today. The food was beautifully presented and we all enjoyed the beef, gammon, and chicken roast dinner platter. The dishes were hot and packed with delicious flavors. We will definitely be returning in the future. The staff was also very friendly and courteous.

we stayed here on the way back from a bike tour. the team in cries howell could easily take the title of the most friendly and friendly pub. they quickly found us a dog friendly table, brought tasty and water. the selection of the diners on the menu was so generous that we had to take one because to decide what we should go for. will definitely visit this place again, as well as really welcome.

came for a birthday meal, was very impressed by the service, eating was of high standard very good price for what they get, not long for eating on the table. the table was waited by charlotte, she was a friendly and responsive member of the staff who was very professional and knew clearly what she did. Disappointed is an understatement. Booked for a large group 16 people for Sunday lunchtime. Was told we had to have roast as it would make it easier for them although there is several options on the Sunday menu. The majority did end up having roasts and what a massive disappointment it was. Never had veg so undercooked in my life. Broccoli was like it was been warmed up for 30 seconds. Parsnips were rock hard and couldn’t even cut it with a knife. Unfortunately, this once wonderful place has taken a turn for the worse. We ordered the Sunday roast, a meal we have enjoyed in the past and often recommended to friends and family. However, the food arrived cold and not as expected - the broccoli was rock hard, the roast potatoes were tough, and the beef was extremely rare and tough. We were unable to cut through it. Despite the empty restaurant, we struggled to find any staff to address our concerns. Eventually, the manager came and offered a free dessert to compensate for our disappointment, which we declined. I was really disappointed last night when I went to a restaurant I have visited a couple of times recently and had enjoyed the food. However, last night we had booked a table for 6 people to celebrate my son's birthday. When we arrived, we were given a limited menu with only 5 or 6 options for starters and mains, and 3 dessert choices. We ordered drinks and were later informed that some items were not available as they had run out of 2 starters and all mains except for burgers or fish and chips. Despite the restaurant being quiet at 7pm, we decided to finish our drinks and go elsewhere.
